The deck plays the most efficient removal spells, counterspells, and hate cards in the format, so its definitely a force to be reckoned with. UWR is decently well positioned moving forward, as it can always beat its slightly unfavorable match-ups (midrange/control) by having more consistency through Ponder as well as mana denial. Grim Lavamancer is fantastic against any deck with creatures right now
