I am a UWR player at heart and have always wanted to make a American Aggro that is actually viable in competitive play. I am happy that with the coming of Dragon's Maze, I am now capable of that...hopefully.

Geist of Saint Thraft

Geist are a given, 3 drop hexproof creature that gives 6 power on the board per attack? Yes Please.

Nivix Cyclops

A new card from Dragon's Maze that inspired me to make this deck is Nivix Cyclops. A 1/4 Defender may seem subpar for 3 mana, but his ability allows for a turn 4 OTK. Turn 3: put him on the field. Turn 4: Artful Dodge>Flashback Artful Dodge> Boros Charm double strike> Swing for 20 unblockable. Even if you can't pull it off, he is a great defender and can deal great damage any time you cast an instant or sorcery.

Delver of Secrets  

Delvers are just amazing. A good turn one creature for this deck to keep the pressure up. A potential 3/2 for 1 is damn skippy in my book.

Boros Reckoner

Reckoner is in this deck because not only does he works well with the mana base, he also can potentially win us mirror matches and give us the elusive infinite life combo. All-a-round a great card for the deck.

Restoration Angel

She is just great in any deck running white. She is a staple. Flash 3/4 flying with a creature blink.

Snapcaster Mage

With any deck running low drop instant and sorcery spells, you need to run Snapcaster. He is great for clutch plays and for fishing out instants to turn around the game.

Artful Dodge

I love this card. 1 Mana to make your Nivix Cyclops and Geist unblockable is huge! You can put out that damage without having to fear your creatures from getting killed. Has too much synergy with this deck to not put it in.

Boros Charm

It does everything we want it too. Keeps our field from getting wiped, Deals that finishing damage to a player or planeswalker, and gives our creature double strike. This deck wouldn't be the same without it.

Searing Spear

No matter the deck, it is nice to have some removal. It is great for picking off that growing Falkenrath Noble to dealing lethal damage. Everyone loves that Searing Spear, if you know what I mean...

Azorius Charm

It gives the deck some amazing sustain, draw power, and time walks the enemy. Just like the Boros Charm, it is kind of a staple.

Legion's Initiative

This card gives everything wanted in this deck. Boost EVERY creature but Snap and Delver, and makes you supreme verdict, bonfire, terminus, and blasphemous act proof! Turn 1: Delver of Secrets   > Turn 2:Legion's Initiative > Turn 3: Geist of Saint Traft. Now you have a Geist that cannot be killed. It has hexproof already and now it can't be killed by board wipe. This card also makes our Reckoner a 4/4. That is just mean.
