So I have only 1 Deflecting Palm in the sideboard atlantis55555. I was thinking of maybe going down to only 1 Ashcloud Phoenix and upping Erase to 2? What do you think? I'm not too sure of it. I wanted to add Narset, Enlightened Master because I felt like against control decks, I didn't have a really strong win-con to outlast their counters and removal.

yeah Ashcloud Phoenix is good but Erase is probably better because it can deal with so many different kinds of threats so you should probably go up to two Erase and down one phoenix. and sorry didnt realize you only had one Deflecting Palm

If you play a lot of Abzan have you thought about Hushwing Gryff?

fertileorphan I have thought about Hushwing Gryff and it used to be a 3 of in the sideboard, but I didn't see too many Abzan or Constellation decks. I do run into them at least 1x a night. BUT, I have beaten them and it is very possible to beat them without using Hushwing Gryff at all. Indeed the Gryff does work against the very good cards in the meta (Siege Rhino, Hornet Queen, Doomwake Giant, Eidolon of Blossoms, Wingmate Roc, Nylea's Disciple...) But if you instead of wasting a creature drop and not getting in that essential damage early or removal early, you virtually slow your deck down and let them do their thing until they can get rid of the Gryff. Which isn't good when turn 9 comes around and you have a Lightning Strike in hand and nothing to target but the player and even then, it won't hurt them too much. So I instead run Disdainful Stroke in that spot because it just gets rid of that threat all together so they won't even get a body. And if they don't play something worth countering, then burn to the face at end of turn. This is a more reactive than proactive deck. And you're probably like, "well he can always just whip them back with Whip of Erebos." Yes, but that's why I have Banishing Light and Erase and Disdainful Stroke and Negate to take care of the whip and many other things. I appreciate your suggestion. And I have tried it, but I found that it was making the deck slower and once the Gryff is gone, well, then they can just do whatever they pretty much want to at that point.

The Gryff isn't even that big of a roadblock - it may stop my Doomwake trigger, but a Whip or Banishing Light after it will still trigger, sending your Gryff to the yard.

MadMage I agree. It's more of a stall card than anything.

1 of anything non-legendary seems . . . Wrong. Although I suppose in a heavy draw deck it's not a big deal.

Hmm. The only thing I don't like is that there aren't any mainboard counters. How has that been for you during your Game 1s? If they have been fine, then that's perfectly fine.
If you do need them mainboard, since you have burn for creatures, I'd suggest moving Negate in, our maybe Swan Song if you'd prefer cheaper counters and are okay with the bird.
Again, this is only if your Game 1s haven't been as good because you lacked a counter. Hope this helps :)
+1

maybe take out one Deflecting Palm for one Erase but other than that the sideboard looks pretty good
