My budget upgrade on Aminatou, the Fateshifter. I know she's pretty good blink commander, but I wanted to explore potential of "top of your deck matters" side. Since a lot of shenanigans involve manifesting your own top deck, I havent dropped blinking, but rather than abusing the ETB effects, I use it to cheat manifested permaments into play. But If you really want, blinking your Peregrine Drake or Solemn Simulacrum is still allowed. ;)

Your main wincon will be Sorin, Grim Nemesis 's +1 and other effects like that: Duskmantle Seer , Twilight Prophet , Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow and cheating as many permaments as you can to finish them off. Archfiend of Despair is brutal with one of these effects and stops lifegain decks from countering our game plan.

Speaking of cheating, manifesting your topdeck and blinking it (or recasting with Primordial Mist ) is a one way, but there some other ways to do it too, for example Arbiter of the Ideal , Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign , Jalira, Master Polymorphist , Oracle's Vault , Brilliant Ultimatum .

Cheating your top deck into play is inconsistent, so we have to have some ways to set it up. Sensei's Divining Top is out of my budget, so I replaced it with Descendant of Soramaro , Thassa, God of the Sea , Crystal Ball , Explorer's Scope , Brainstorm , Retreat to Coralhelm and some others.

So the main use for blinking is manifests, but who said that you couldn't abuse ETBs in a traditional way? There are some good ETB/LTB triggers on: Boreas Charger , Mulldrifter , Night Incarnate , Peregrine Drake , Phyrexian Delver , Solemn Simulacrum , and ways to blink them are Conjurer's Closet , Eldrazi Displacer , Felidar Guardian , Restoration Angel and some one-shot effects. Also Suture Priest melds nicely with blink side of this deck, it helps you stabilize after some bad Duskmantle Seer top decks, punishes token decks that are a pain for planeswalker commanders and make some accidential damage for opponens too! Vela the Night-Clad is another blink payoff, giving every creature some evasion (which can be important. I'm looking at you Lord of the Void !)

For removing stuff, I decided to drop counterspells. If I accidentally leave one on the top of my deck, and then try to use my Djinn of Wishes , I gain nothing, and lose a lot: an opportunity to cheat something more relevant, a wish counter, 4 mana and a counterspell that will fizzle instantly. If this will be an Utter End instead, I can at least exile the biggest threat on the battlefield. Hopefully BW is quite good at removing stuff, so I included some basic BW removal package. Honorable mention: Settle the Score allows you to remove something big AND surprise opponents with Aminatou's -6 out of nowhere.

Finally, there is a small reanimation package. This deck could look intimidating so I expect a lot of hate. Phyrexian Delver , Mortuary Mire , Entreat the Dead should help you recover and sometimes even set your top for more shenanigans.

This deck definitely have some weaknesses, but its very fun to pilot. If you dont draw Peregrine Drake , it feels a bit slow. I should drop something to include Angel of Finality to have better protection against reanimation decks. I should include more hate to artifacts, lands and enchantments. So suggestions welcome. :)
