If your having troubles with agro +4 Thragtusk (plus it turns garruk into a 2GGG draw 5 spell instead.

I was thinking Thragtusk, but he comes in way too late. the 5 life is offset by Thundermaw Hellkite , and he's already done the damage with his first 4 turns. I like Centaur Healer , but I will have to see how the matchups go this week.

The only thing I could suggest is running more then only 2 maniacs. I know you are drawing practically all the time but I would run more since it is literally your only win condition unless you can reliably keep swinging with beast tokens. But having 8 sweepers main board kind of makes that not seem like the normal situation. So that would be my only suggestion.

could add card:Ranger's Guile, able to counter Abrupt Decay through game rules, or simic charm whenn gatecrash comes out which also gives hexproof.

Mizzium Skin is the best card:Ranger's Guile effect.

I won't add trostani. I thought about adding her, but that goes in a VERY different direction from what the deck is trying to do (mostly because I have 8 sources of boardwipe, and trying to populate is... not what the deck does)

Not to mention, she's a 4 drop that won't stick around for too long, and requires TONS of mana dedication.

I might add like, 1 or 2 Mizzium Skin , but I really don't think it's TOO bad. Abrupt decay is the only thing I'd need to worry about mainboard, and I think that it's not run enough to warrant a spot when I could just flash in a second one.

Deadeye Navigator with Prime Speaker Zegana = "1U: Draw 6 cards." Much faster than sitting on Garruk for turns on end. You can start sinking your mana into Deadeye's flicker ability as soon as turn 7. +1

I really do like Deadeye Navigator . i feature him in a few other decks. you are right that he is better for the card draw, but garruk puts out blockers, which is essential for the deck. I have a lot of board wipe, but I need something else to help in the event that they still have creatures bashing through anyway.

Although, I might be able to sneak in one dead eye and replace one of my other creatures... maybe a zegana or lab maniac...
