The purpose of this list is to provide answers against players who pilot Stax decks.

Because stax (aka "the four thousand dollar solution" deck) makes for slow, boring, and painful games at times.

The cards listed here are, for the majority, in the Bant Shard. There are others in Rakdos, but they are mainly restricted to artifacts.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Please feel free to make suggestions to add to the list.

Additionally, there are land destruction spells listed here to deal with garbage like Academy Ruins and Mystifying Maze/Maze of Ith.

Crucible of Worlds can be dealt with through Artifact destruction spells.

Finally, Chronatog must be dealt with immediately in order to prevent decking. Recommend counterspells that exile, like Dissipate or Syncopate, or spot removal like Swords To Plowshares, Reality Shift, or Path To Exile .
