I wanted to challenge myself to build a deck using a silver bordered commander, but a low cost deck with commander legal cards.

I finally managed to come up with an idea that might actually do something! We will be working to combine creatures that have infect with creatures that have either persist or undying! Why this weird mix? Because when they are combined with Grusilda, the combined creature has ALL keywords. Say our enemies block and kill our infectious monstrosity, what happens? Well, the persist/undying trigger happens when it dies, and both creatures, seperated when they die, come back with the requisite +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter on them, meaning our infect creature is back!

Asmodeus the Archfiend may appear an odd include, but lets look at pairing him with the Bomat Courier or the Cabal Surgeon. Since they are all 1 creature, anything exiled with Surgeon or Courier can easily be returned to our hand, letting us get some creatures back with little to no cost to ourselves. The Surgeon is probably the stronger of the 2, since he can help get us back our noncreature cards!

I worked to keep this deck affordable, I tried to keep costs under $0.50 but I know some things are just a hair over that price cough sol ring worn powerstone cough
