Unsummon effects to protect Lord. String of Disappearances hurts us little since often everything has hexproof, but if we unsummon our Lord of the Unreal, we can pay the extra mana to unsummon an opponents creature.

Force of Negation is less helpful than Spell Pierce since we need to protect the Lord of the Unreal while Phantasmal Image is incoming (often during OUR turn).
