Witchstalker from M14 would be a great addition to this deck.

yeah i really liked how that card looked. i think what i will have to do (instead of 2 drops) is play some mana ramp (Avacyn's Pilgrim ) to get out my T3 guys on T2 because so many strong cards are coming out at the 3 spot.

Gladecover Scout M14 and Champion of Lambholt are good for the swing. And Witchstalker when it drops. Change those Ultimate Price s to Doom Blade s when they come out as well.

those are cards i have definitely been considering. and Champion of Lambholt would be just about perfect for this deck, however i am really going to try to keep this in rtr block so i dont have to worry about rotation when i go to college. so i was going to consider elvish mystic (Llanowar Elves ) and Gladecover Scout as my 1-drops and have Fiendslayer Paladin and possibly Witchstalker or lifebane zombie (3/1 intimidate, when ETB exile a g/w creature from opponent's hand) as my 3-drops along with Loxodon Smiter . Thanks for the suggestions, they will definitely get tested!

That's funny as I am doing the same with my decks since I'm going to college too this fall. I plan to play a lot more in college so I am preparing for rotation. Strangleroot Geist (which really shouldn't be in there anyway) and Wandering Wolf need to come out if you want to keep it to the rtr block. Make sure you completely understand what your deck does. It's better for a deck to do one thing well than two things okay. Enchant decks tend to be fast and want to kill before T7. Invisible Stalker made these decks awesome because they hit directly and your spells are protected by adding on to him. After rotation there won't be many unblockable creatures to use and they are really what make aura decks good. Spire Tracer could work but I would look out for what comes out in the new sets to find something better. Oh Dark Favor is great for speed and can help your creatures hit hard.

yeah the wolf and geist were in there until i saw how some m14 cards played but i completely forgot about Dark Favor being reprinted which is awesome for this deck. i did have Spire Tracer in the initial version of this deck and i honestly cant remember why i took it out. im just going to list my list of cards so far id like to add/drop in the updates. thanks for the suggestions and +1 if you like it

I would vote to go Divine Favor over Dark Favor because you are running white anyway and i would rather get +1 and +3 toughness and gain 3 life than get +3 and lose life. And still get +1 from Ethereal Armor . Cool deck though +1.

I think a little more removal also wouldn't hurt.

ty for the comment, i had forgotten about Divine Favor . the reason i do run Dark Favor over it is because i have no problem gaining life with my 4 lifelink sources. also Fencing Ace is much better as a 4/2 than a 2/4 if you know what i mean haha

i essentially have 6 removal sources but i am considering switching out Putrefy for Tragic Slip to be more consistent and cheaper. i will have to see how often creatures die lol.

man im gunna be sad Rancor is rotating out...

otherwise maybe something to consider.. Sphere of Safety

July 22, 2013 8:24 p.m.

steelking6 says... #16

Sphere of Safety was in consideration for the initial deck, however the second they cast murder on my fencing ace w/ 2 enchantments on it, sphere gets a lot worse, and im not to keen on raising my curve other than Archangel of Thune . against creature heavy decks it is quite good with the evasion i have but i have Terminus for that and that seems good enough.

I feel like Lotleth Troll could be a good addition instead of the fencing aces. Ethereal armor already gives the possibility of first strike and ajani gives a possible double strike and flying as well. Lotleth troll could get more use out of these enchants than fencing ace could plus he has regenerate which makes it harder to kill! Just a suggestion! I still like fenci ace though cause if he gets pumped up he can be quite deadly

i actually do like the idea of Lotleth Troll , the few problems i had with him when i wsa putting this deck together was 1) his color base is pretty specific and i dont have many black sources 2) i wont really ever get to use his discard ability because each creature is very important and 3) i plan to GIVE evasion like trample or flying so having it early isnt a huge deal. Also i just won a match last night with a 5/5 Fencing Ace so im a little biased haha. Thank you for the comment!

I play Abundant Growth in naya hexproof and it really straightens out bad draws while pumping ethereal armour and mana fixing - strongly recommended. Sigarda is awesome, but post-rotation I think mana dorks will become more important as potential sac redirects - like swinging into Celestial Flare , Devour Flesh etc., although at least a few of those effects are rotating too.

steelking6 says... #23

honestly, those are some of the best pointers i have gotten on this deck. Celestial Flare did do some damage against me in a game on last saturday (he mistakenly tried to use it against sigarda next turn lol). and i actually plan on running the dork now that you bring it up. i am actually planning on making this naya hexproof post rotation, pretty much only for Madcap Skills , in place of rancor. and Abundant Growth is gonna help me with the mystic only adding green. Thanks for the comments and +1 if you like it. im heading over to check out your deck now

Without any really giant creatures or mana drains it seems like you have too much mana gen and not enough draw. Cut the Elvish Mystic and put in a few Chosen by Heliod maybe? Or Warriors' Lesson ?

If you do want the mana gen Feral Invocation might be interesting as an addition since it can cast at instant speed and still boost Ethereal Armor .

Also, Hopeful Eidolon might fit really well.
