Small Update: Sac-Outlets, Artifact-Hate, Dusters —Aug. 4, 2021
As I've been able to get more games in with this deck, I am reminded just how important it is to have free sac-outlets available. Previously, we only had 2 in the form of Devouring Strossus and Fallen Angel - they are amazing cards and I have used them countless times to save precious creatures from dangerous exile, tuck, or bounce effects. It is such an important element and I simply need more cards that can help provide that effect more often. Free outlets are actually pretty rare within my restrictions but I was able to find a couple that I think will be great additions to the team: Phyrexian Plaguelord, Cateran Overlord, and Phyrexian Ghoul (which was recommended to me by a fellow Tappedout user many months ago!).
Another new face is Phyrexian Gremlins! Yep, that's right - while very limited, we can now interact with artifacts! I am so glad we have some Amy Weber art to spice the deck up too :)
To make room for these newcomers, I unfortunately had to make some cuts. The biggest change was that I ended up removing the Dusters package (in the form of Plague Dogs, Death's-Head Buzzard, and Plague Spitter) from the list. I really, really like these cards but, since my utility creatures tend to have very low stats, they usually ended up hurting my own board-state far more than my opponents'.
The last cut was extremely difficult but in the end, I retired Delraich for now. I absolutely adore this card but its utility in game is very difficult to use effectively since the sac-outlet it provided (while really awesome in terms of flavor) is only sorcery speed.

I have a reanimator deck (not as neatly budget as yours is though) and I have found one of my favorite discard outlets is Key to the City . It just has so much value in this kind of deck. Nice deck, man!

Thanks for the comment, StarstormKK! I unfortunately won't be able to add your suggestion though. A self-imposed rule for this deck is that I use only old-bordered cards, meaning I cannot use anything that was made after the Scourge set which was in 2003. Neat card though!

This one looks like great fun! Having any sort of theme or self-imposed restriction is always a spur to creativity!

I love finding unique decks like this! How cool! Great job sticking to your theme and cutting staples even though they may be good.
