Good deck, but phalanx leaders, though good will be pretty easy to remove quickly with only 1 toughness. How would it do against Control?

EnnilCeiswyr: Yes, Phalanx Leader is fragile but there are many situations where targeting him may be undesirable for the opponent. For instance, I can pump past Wild Slash with Artful Maneuver for a cumulative +3/+3 for the turn all while giving all my other creatures +1/+1 counters! Center Soul, Gods Willing and Valorous Stance help out too. And if the leader does manage to get killed off by a Crackling Doom or Hero's Downfall, at least it wasn't my Fabled Hero.
To be fair I haven't faced off versus a control deck yet, I only saw one Esper Dragons at my FNM. I'm sure Crux of Fate would give me a hard time :)

On the Topic of control decks, I'd recommend more Indestructible to side in against them. Ajani's Presence is a good help against Anger of the Gods, Crux of Fate, Duneblast, End Hostilities and all the other boardwipes in standard.

I run a deck that is very similar to this. I love Phalanx Leader and Seeker.A card you should look at is Gleam of Authority, casting it targeting Phalanx leader is devastating, buff all of my guys, Phalanx leader gets gigantic.

I have used your deck few months ago when it is still on standard, it works good on my LGS. Defeat the B/W warrior which I can't before using this.

I hope you can continue this on modern. I don't play standard anymore since it's too expensive for the time it's being legal, modern FTW. I'm still building my Tier 1 Burn deck.
