Originally, the deck was supposed to be a Hydra tribal deck using Anafenza, the Foremost. That idea was scrapped in favor of taing out the and making it selesnya instead. We chose Karametra, God of Harvests so the next hydra will be bigger than the last. The deck has evolved again to have creatures with Hydra abilities - coming into play with X +1/+1 counters - like Endless One, Mikaeus, the Lunarch ect, instead of just having hydras. The deck also features non hydra ability cards for preference and mana fixing.

What I am looking at for this deck is more card draw and removal. The creatures are solid and pretty damn scary, I've played against the current version of this deck and it's wiped me off the map a few times.
