Hamletback Goliath has no trample so can be blocked by a 1/1 with ease.

Karametra, God of Harvests doesn't trigger off spells put into play without being cast

Nylea, God of the Hunt Purphoros, God of the Forge Ulamog's Crusher are all creatures you can cut to make room for more ramp.

Bear Umbra isn't that bad, but there is a BUNCH of enchantment removal in EDH.

Bow of Nylea I like the deathtouch but the slot would be better served by ramp.

Land needs some work, your basics are heavily skewed toward Forest and you'd be shut down almost completely by a Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon

I know Karametra doesn't work like that, but she still is great, I end up casting a few cards from my hand and she helps with ramp by letting me tutor for shocks or whatnot.

Bow of Nylea isn't in there just for the deathtouch. I use it's last ability to put cards from my graveyard back into my deck. I know Elixir of Immortality is probably better, but I like the Bow.

I am trying to get Path to Exile and Elvish Piper of the cards you listed.

I know my mana is weird but I am not worried about Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon . If you look at the mana chart, you see it's almost exactly what I need. I am done messing around with it haha. Thanks for the concern though.

If I find that my meta is running those cards, I will have to end up fixing my mana. I haven't seen any mono-red decks at my LGS, and that's the only deck I know that would run those.

In a singleton format having a card in like Hamletback Goliath and saying "it doesn't have trample because Nylea gives it" isn't always a smart move, unless you have a way to tutor for the needed card then it will often end up being a stand alone. Can't count the number of games I've had my fingers crossed for a Deadeye Navigator and he hasn't shown up.

Plenty of other graveyard recycles I'm not feeling the Bow of Nylea but up to you if you keep.

Khalni Hydra is heavy skewing your mana chart just so you know.

What do you recommend in place of the Hydra and the Goliath?

The Hydra is fine, can be removed or stay up to you, just realize he will rarely be hard cast, and you've got enough beaters in the deck, need removal and utility now.

Yeah I still am not thrilled about him, He was just a placeholder essentially.

The eldrazi give me removal and utility(atleast my understanding of utility) haha I know I need more though.

Not targeted removal though, need to have artifact/enchantment/creature removal at the ready.

A pricy, but endlessly useful suggestion: Scroll Rack . This card would allow you to put fatties you accidentally drew back on top so that Mayael can get to them. Additionally, it puts some advantage back in your hand.

That's an awesome card! It's not too pricey, I bought avacyn at 30 and my plateau at 50 haha I'm definitely getting that card

Sylvan Library is another good top deck manipulator that might help. And go back to my deck and check out the creatures for some ideas Mayael and her fat friends also since you have plenty of green critters maybe Regal Force and Woodfall Primus

Well my brother uses nekusar, and I don't like drawing cards so that's why I like Scroll Rack

You can't go wrong with Artisan of Kozilek or some Hydras, like Apocalypse Hydra , for example (X always being greater than 5)

The Artisan of Kozilek works well.

I really prefer to have cards that can be cheated in by Mayael the Anima or Elvish Piper so I am gonna say no to Apocalypse Hydra

This deck is all about cheating in "fatties" to scare my opponent.

I'd also add Kessig Wolf Run to your lands

Quicksilver Amulet

I know it seems good but this deck doesn't cast creatures from my hand, but Scroll Rack is there to move creatures from my hand to the top of my library. I rarely if ever cast creatures from my hand.

I prefer Elvish Piper in place of Quicksilver Amulet anyways, it's cheaper for the same effect.

Have you thought about Archetype of Endurance ? If you get that and Avacyn, Angel of Hope out at the same time then you've got yourself a field of Indestructible, hexproof fatties. Idk that just sounds fun to me.

I used it once, but every time I found it using mayaels ability, I took a different creature, because I found something better. In commander most people have board wipes that don't target anything, so hexproof doesn't help as much :) thanks for the suggestion!

Pretty sweet, +1! I'd suggest trying out Oracle of Mul Daya or Courser of Kruphix . Besides obviously helping with mana, I've found them to be indispensable for helping Mayael find a target more often. You burn a land or two off the top, that's one or two fewer cards that you know are definitely NOT creatures. Plus, there's lots of shenanigans with Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top .

Yeah I have used them both but I just never liked showin my opponents what I have coming up next haha
