These DARN DIRTY APES really hate shiny metal objects! (And who can blame them?)

Ancient Stirrings... Ancient Grudge... Simian Spirit Guide... Kird Ape... you get the picture.

And this deck is ANCIENT at this point (2010 is ancient by MTG standards). This is an old Liquimetal Coating Land Destruction deck that uses a new card, Karn the Great Creator, to help find the Liquimetal Coating and other useful artifacts. This is the only deck I own with a sideboard (which I haven't finished). This deck is weak to "indestructible" cards and pretty much any big powerful thing (LOL) but if you can get out of the gates quickly, then your opponent won't have any mana to play with.

I made this casual deck less-unfair by omitting Strip Mine. How big of me!

I bet this could rock a format like Modern or whatever (Is Modern still a format people play?).

It's pretty darn competitive and super duper fun. We'll see how having just 13 land cards works out.
