This is a story of Artifacts: land artifacts like Ancient Den , Darksteel Citadel, Seat of the Synod. Creature Artifacts such as the beloved Blightsteel Colossus, Master of Etherium, Steel Hellkite, and of course Platinum Angel .

So, the goal for this deck is low levels of control and life gain and then heavy creatures. With Unwinding Clock and the trio of Artifact lands my goal was to have lands untapping fairly often so I could easily use Cancel, Dispatch, and Vapor Snag. Cards like Angel's Mercy and Blind Obedience are merely for some measure to gain life.

The combo of Lux Cannon and Energy Chamber are just as a backup measure in case I need to worry about some random enchantment or artifact that hits the board. I've got two cards in there as a board wiping mechanism in Phyrexian Rebirth and Scourglass. I threw the planeswalker Tezzeret the Seeker in there as a diversion. It's not integral to my game but like the Lux Cannon it's a distraction.

I threw Tempered Steel and Indomitable Archangel in as an overall buffing mechanism. Nothing like a shrouded Blightsteel coming down on you.
