Sometimes I get a deck concept itch that I just NEED to scratch, and this deck is one of those times. The overall theme and win-con is simple: summon a horde of flying angels!
The title is a reference to:
Sadly, the BMX Bandit (Akrasan Squire) didn't make the cut and had to be removed from the deck.
One of my big complaints with enchantment decks is that all the cards are played at sorcery speed. I'm always at a big disadvantage when I can't respond to something my opponent did on their turn. To address this, this deck makes use of instant-speed (flash) enchantment removal.
Individual Card Notes
Endless Horizons smooths out every turn for the rest of the game by turning almost every draw into an enchantment. I've considered running two of these, but frankly taking out almost every land is annoyingly time-consuming. On the bright side, it annoys my opponent, too.
Kruphix's Insight has insane draw power. I'll frequently put 3 cards in your hand for only , and it'll help me dig to find answers. I run this over tutor spells because I enjoy drawing fistfuls of cards a lot more than digging through my library for a specific utility card.
Temporal Isolation and Cast Out are my instant-speed removal. Both take care of anything with graveyard recursion, which is common in my casual meta.
Story Circle is fantastic for preventing damage from individual creatures, but it's not where you want to be spending your mana each turn. I'm running only one as a test.
