Gameday was upon me! Oh Woe! I've not played Standard for a Month! What am I to do? Wait, there was a Pro Tour a few weeks ago! What won there? Aristocrats? I must Beat this Deck!

(Two days Later)

ARG! Nothing is working. The deck just sacrifices everything, and then wins!

... Wait a moment. That's it!

So, Angelic Protestors was born. I had about a day to finish and wrap up the deck, and it does it's job well, but it was the wrong deck for the job that day. It turns out that my local meta really, really liked Enchantment Based removal. Who knew?

This deck took between 6th and 8th on Gameday, losing notably to Enchantment based decks with bad shuffles. This current version is tweaked from the Gameday experience.

This deck has the potential for terrific life gain, and avoids the ground game by using flying angels. Angel of Jubilation keeps the Aristocrats from using the abilities of Falkenrath Aristocrat and the Orzhov Bureaucrat, basically crippling the evasion and resistance that the deck has. Meanwhile, the White Weenie Portion of the deck goes in and deals damage. A toolbox of spells rounds out the abilities, allowing for a flexible game plan, recovering lost creatures, and stopping problem creatures.

I just wish I had packed the Erasures before I started the day, that's all.

Been testing this against various decks, and have decided I'm not really grooving on the Firemane Avengers. I like them, but they tend not to do anything special most of the time. Contemplating replacing with Entreat the Angels. I'd like some critiques before changing anything, though.

I also am not liking Boros Reckoner in this deck, as he doesn't add any synergy to the deck, and is only a hard to block body. Since the majority of my creatures are hard to block anyway, he doesn't add much.
