"ANGELS!! Nough said!"
"Well explain it."
"Well it's a deck, with Angels in it. And I play it!"
I'm not too sure how to explain the deck itself and make it seem like it works flawlessly together, but somehow it manages to take on a lot and come through the victor in a lot of matches. There are a few good combos in the deck itself that make it amazing.
Luminarch Ascension - A great way to start a game, especially against something like tribal decks(like elves and such). It takes four turns to really kick in, but once it does all you need is two for a 4/4 flyer that packs a punch, and get a bunch more of them in the process. It's hard to pick them off when you get more the next turn.
Elspeth - One of the greatest Plainswalkers, and my favorite. There is no negative ability and all of hers are kick butt! Combine her last ability(making all of your permanents indestructable) with Luminarch Ascension and like I said before, an amazing combo.
Herald of War - Can pull you out of a tight no-mana situation when you aren't drawing anymore and have power tops in the hand. Because of her I've gotten Reya Dawnbringer, Akroma, and Victory's Herald on the field. Never count out Herald of War.
Angel of Serenity - Also a great life savor! All you need is cloudshift and you can use her to exile a bigger threat then when she first came onto the field. I've used her a lot to exile assassin tokens that make you lose the game once they make combat damage.
Akroma - Need I say more?
Avacyn, Angel of Hope - If Elspeth is taken out before her last ability is completed then Avacyn can compensate and more so! Equip her own mask to her and her own spear and she's hard to stop. The tokens are indestructible as well as anything else on your field.
True Conviction - Though somewhat of an end-gamer, it can definitely be a great help staying in the game and finishing with victory. Gaining double strike and lifelink. Now all you need is Celestial Mantle and you sure as heck won't lose easily.
Iona, the Shield of Emeria - Though not used a whole lot she can just about literally kill someone else's deck so nothing they have can be used against you, or at least a majority of their better spells.
Linvala, Keeper of Silence - Is my absolute favorite! This card comes through in a pinch, making it so that activated abilities of your opponents creatures can't be activated(great against a bunch of elves!). Another fourth turn drop, she's one of my favorite legendary's.
Reya Dawnbringer - One combo I do like to do is having Defy Death in hand and Reya Dawnbringer in the graveyard so she can be used somewhat early game. With her on the field and hexproofed up and/or indestructible, any angel that dies comes right back at the beginning of my upkeep. A never ending cycle.
The rest you'll have to come up with on your own, but those are a few of my common combos at least. Though it's not entirely Angels, after drop four mana it's all downhill from there!
