Modern Combo Humans RGW (Naya)

Sideboard

Idea is to cast Humans and attack, then blink Kessig Malcontents with Cloudshift and Restoration Angel for the win.

Sideboard is constructed for playing against reanimator/mill, tribal, control, and flying. Primarily worried about flying and control.

Round 1 vs. Bant Hexproof - Rematch with the guy from match 2 on 8/17. Game 1 I got out in front super fast with two Champion of the Parishes and two Mayor of Avabruck  Flips and overwhelmed his Invisible Stalker and Geist of Saint-Taft before they could do much. I had a Fiend Hunter in there somewhere too I think. Game 2 was similar with me out in front with Champions and a Mayor, but this time he got his Geist out a little earlier and enchanted with Ethereal Armor, Spectral Flight, and Rancor so I was in deep shit the next turn but was saved by playing two Burning-Tree Emmisarys into another Mayor and two Experiment Ones that pumped up my Champions for the win. 2-0

Round 2 vs. Izzet Delver/Burn - I've played this guy before, his deck is super fast and he usually takes first or at least top 4 at the shop. Game 1 he drew too many Think Twices so it allowed my humans to go to work and I was able to blink Kessig Malcontents with Cloudshift and Restoration Angel a few times for the win. Game 2 he flipped a Delver of Secrets  Flip early and was able to get a Guttersnipe on the field while holding me off with Shock and Azorius Charm to burn through to the win. Game 3 I got mana hosed and kept a hand I shouldn't have which left me with 9 or 10 lands but only two creatures by the time I died. 1-2

Round 3 vs. Selesnya Aggro - Game 1 I got out two Champions quick and pumped them with Silverblade Paladin and Kessig Malcontents before he could do much of anything. He played his Kalonian Hydra but I think he had to trade with my Silverblade. Game 2 was similar but he was able to slow things down a bit with two Loxodon Smiters, one on turn two before ramping into his Hydra. By the time he got his Hydra out though, I had two pumped up Champions, one paired with a Silverblade, a 3/3 Experiment One, and a Tajic, Blade of the Legion waiting to attack next turn. I blinked Kessig Malcontents twice to win after attacking a few times with the Champions and trading with Silverblade for one of the Smiters. 2-0

Record was 5-2 for an overall 2-1 finish, good enough for 4th place because my round 2 opponent took 1st. Shiny new Experiment One promo.

Sideboard changes: -2 Windstorm, +2 Bonfire of the Damned
