Does Animar, Soul of Elements Casting Cost reduced clause affect spells with them? Like if you have 5 counters on Animar, then only paid for Hooded Hydra, it would still enter with 5 +1/+1 counters?

Yes. It allows you to abuse the Hooded Hydra as well. As you can cast it for its 3 colorless morph cost, it's an enabling engine with Cloudstone Curio. Also keep in mind Whirlpool Rider is a house. If you can keep bouncing and triggering him you can just keep digging for the things you need. But with the Hydra in your example as long as I pay the initial 2 green, then yes it will get 5 counte.

If you are planning this build remember always your curio triggers. There are a ton of things that can be do be with it and even the smallest things matter. Whirlpool rider, genesis hydra, even ramping into your storm count all matter.

Just like to state Cloudstone Curio doesn't work well with Memnite or Ornithopter as they are artifacts. try Kobolds of Kher Keep, Crimson Kobolds, Crookshank Kobolds for the same effect. Second potential infinite combo is 2 mana creatures, such as Rattleclaw Mystic, which is the best because you morph it for 0, flip it up, bounce with another mana creature and float infinite. Not that it does that much. but definitely consider Fires of Yavimaya and Temur Ascendancy for a second infinite combo with some cheap mana creatures. Experiment One could be nice.

To sum it up- RUN ALL THE KOBOLDS AS 0 DROPS, THEY AREN'T ARTIFACTS AND THUS TRIGGER Cloudstone Curio. AND I SUGGESTED ANOTHER COMBO FOR YOU.

Very true forgot the Artifact clause as mine was in Korean lol. The problem with the enchantments is they take up spots that I wouldn't know what to cut. The deck is very very consistent thanks to Whirlpool Rider and the few cantrips. Rattleclaw was in originally but gain not sure what to cut at this point.

Great deck! Kobolds! but why is whirlpool rider in the deck?

I am very interested in this deck but i dont really understand a lot of how it works. could you explain some of the plays, combos? why is Whirlpool Rider in this deck? also why is Green suns zenith in when you can only fetch an x creature for x=0 or is it only in the deck to fetch viridian joiner, who is for the combo with Umbral Mantle? although that combo i dont understand because you can pump him to infinite power but without flip or rancor it will be hard to get damage through chump blockers.
