Curly I have a few questions about your deck.

Why do you have Beguiler of WillsMTG Card: Beguiler of Wills instead of something like BriberyMTG Card: Bribery or just Gilded DrakeMTG Card: Gilded Drake? BriberyMTG Card: Bribery could grab you a much larger variety and Gilded DrakeMTG Card: Gilded Drake might give them a flyer but it's much cheaper. Depends if you go against a lot of flying.

Instead of Quicksilver GargantuanMTG Card: Quicksilver Gargantuan I would suggest Phyrexian MetamorphMTG Card: Phyrexian Metamorph. Con: It won't be a 7/7 if the creature is less than 7/7 Pro: It could copy something greater than 7/7 OR you could copy someone else's general to destroy it OR it could be some artifact you like (like mana ramp) and it costs way less mana.

Nice questions Rev.

As far as the Beguiler of WillsMTG Card: Beguiler of Wills goes, I prefer her to the 2 cards you suggested because you still gain permanent control of the creatures and you can use her ability more than once. Of course she has a target painted on her, but since the deck has a lot of things to make my creatures invulnerable or shrouded, having the chance to use her ability more than once is worth it. I'm also not particularly concerned with the mana cost b/c if I don't have 3 counters on animar by that point I don't deserve to win anyway :-P

I was just looking at Phyrexian MetamorphMTG Card: Phyrexian Metamorph yesterday actually. While there are some nice combos with the Quicksilver GargantuanMTG Card: Quicksilver Gargantuan since it stays a 7/7, I do think the ability to copy and artifact as well as a creature is probably worth it. The other cool thing is that I can bring the metamorph out essentially for no mana, just 2 life, if animar has some counters on him. I believe the gargantuan would still kill the other person's general though, because it does say a copy. Also the gargantuan isn't susceptible to artifact kill spells. I think it's a toss up, but I will put a metamorph in there and see if I get better use out of him. Thanks for the tip!

try proliferating things, like Contagion ClaspMTG Card: Contagion Clasp

I considered some proliferation, but only Animar, Soul of ElementsMTG Card: Animar, Soul of Elements, Forgotten AncientMTG Card: Forgotten Ancient and Primordial HydraMTG Card: Primordial Hydra have counters on them, so it's only reliably helpful for animar really, and I wouldn't waste the mana on that when I could just put in another bounce-back created like Horned KavuMTG Card: Horned Kavu and put multiple counters on animar for less mana than the 4 it'd take me to use the Contagion ClaspMTG Card: Contagion Clasp. Thanks for the comment.

also your planeswalkers and increasing savagery, from what i have you should tend to get all the creature cards out of your hand in no time leaving you with mana to do nothing with, so i think that Contagion ClaspMTG Card: Contagion Clasp and Contagion EngineMTG Card: Contagion Engine would be good. i also think that you need some more planes walkers, especially if you add some proliferate things, Chandra NalaarMTG Card: Chandra Nalaar (for small creature control and then her -8, personally i think she is the worst one i am suggesting for this deck), Garruk WildspeakerMTG Card: Garruk Wildspeaker (to up mana/creature creation), Tezzeret the SeekerMTG Card: Tezzeret the Seeker (to get b-pod and needed artifacts), Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept to get your deck moving and you drawing cards and Sarkhan VolMTG Card: Sarkhan Vol (he kicks ass).

Good points man. I'll see what I can do about getting some of those. I just had to trade my Sarkhan VolMTG Card: Sarkhan Vol to get some of the other good high end cards in here, but I have been trying to get him back because he does kick ass in this deck. I do have a Jace, Memory AdeptMTG Card: Jace, Memory Adept so maybe I will toss him in as well.

If you like high mana cost cards I don't see why you aren't rocking more of something like Doubling SeasonMTG Card: Doubling Season.

So proliferate, there are only four creatures which have proliferate. The spells themselves are slightly more mana expensive than just spending less mana a creature. Out of the four creatures left, the closest card that doesn't already do the same job (but oldschool by just saying add a counter to target creature) is ThrummingbirdMTG Card: Thrummingbird which is pretty good if you aren't playing against flying.

I have the Blightsteel ColossusMTG Card: Blightsteel Colossus in there already, so I think I'm good for colossi. But the Platinum AngelMTG Card: Platinum Angel definitely needs to happen, thanks for the suggestion!

is not playable because it is a G/B card.

Not true actually. While it does bring black wolf tokens into play on one side, it has no black casting cost or mana symbols on it anywhere, so it is playable. I confirmed this with a judge one of the times I was playing it at the local shop.

I actually have one of him in my other EDH deck. He's pretty nasty, I might have to put him in. It's hard to find things to take out though, and he doesn't really combo well like some of the other beefy creatures do.

Added some new creatures from Avacyn, namely Somberwald SageMTG Card: Somberwald Sage and Soul of the HarvestMTG Card: Soul of the Harvest. Considering adding Zealous ConscriptsMTG Card: Zealous Conscripts as well...

Added Zealous ConscriptsMTG Card: Zealous Conscripts as well as Champion of Lambholt MTG Card: Champion of Lambholt from Avacyn. Took out Garruk, Primal HunterMTG Card: Garruk, Primal Hunter and Eldrazi MonumentMTG Card: Eldrazi Monument because I find that when I draw them they never really get played. Garruk would be usefull but with the 3 greens and no mana reduction from animar he's best not suited for this deck.

Primal SurgeMTG Card: Primal Surge, just sayin'

Thought about it. Thing is, if I get to that much raw mana with this deck, there are probably a billion other combos I could do OR I have enough of an army to decimate by then. This deck relies on animar to cast high cost spells and since it's not a creature I don't know if it's worth it. Thanks for the input though.

Friend of mine plays creature based Riku EDH... card:Conjurer's Closet works just nice in his deck and I guess it would fit your deck too! Also, you can never go wrong with Acidic Slime ...

32 lands seem to be insufficient, especially when your average mana cost is around 5 mana. I know that Animar makes your life much more easier, but I would still add some ramp like Cultivate /card:Kodama's Reach and Explosive Vegetation ... or in your case some creature based ramp like Yavimaya Elder (which is awesome in most green EDH), Sylvan Ranger or even Borderland Ranger /Civic Wayfinder . I know what I'm talking about, I used to have Mayael the Anima EDH and at first, I did not put enough of ramp thinking Mayael could take care of it, but it just did not work.

Well, the deck looks nice :) +1 for bad ass creatures!

Garruk Relentless  Flip is G/B on his flipped side. Look on that side of the card to left of the word 'Planeswalker' and you'll see it's split between green and black, that indicates his color identity.

And you may as well throw in Blessings of Nature . It's sometimes very cheap, or otherwise moderately priced, of course works great with Animar, but is also flexible enough to help you out with other creatures. You'll likely get more out of it than some proliferating effects.

Blessings of Nature is a good idea.

I played with Garruk in this deck at multiple tournaments, and have had people tell me both that it is legal due to the fact there is no black mana symbols anywhere on the card, and illegal because of what you stated. I'll probably just remove him from the deck for argument's sake. I have a few more cards I plan on adding soon as well with M13 and planescape out now.

In a kinduva confusing twist, if you search magiccards.info using the advanced search tool for cards that can be played with a green commander and have "Garruk" in the name, it returns Garruk Relentless  Flip , but not Garruk, the Veil-Cursed  Flip  Flip. On the page for the Veil-Cursed, it says Color Indicator: Black Green. But whatever, it's EDH, so if the people you play with don't mind, then it doesn't matter.

Commander rules say you can't use a card that does share a color identity with your commander. Normally that means mana cost, but when you have a flip card the little symbol before their type is the color indicator which means the card is indeed Green/Black and not usable in this deck.

I'm not sure if I understand why you have Myojin of Infinite Rage in this deck. Not sayin he's not awesome, I just think there are probably a bunch of cards that would have better synergy with this deck. Stuffy Doll is a favorite of mine with Animar.
