Yeah start with some basic lands nothing crazy and test out the deck a bunch if it works to your liking then ur good. If you want a better land base u can always replace basics. This is the way i prefer to build my decks so that way I dont waste any money.

Yeah I have it in my physical/actual Aminar Deck but I haven't updated this deck list to my current one for a really long time.

I have a Animar deck too but mine is focused on Eldrazis. I would recommend using Endless One. You can use him to get a counter on Animar for free and still get a more or less big dude. He can help at the start or still be a big dude for 0 later on.
