Animar was my first commander. I've worked on this deck more than any other I own. I've made changes to speed it up quite a bit. It's bad against direct damage, but very fast. I used to have much higher average CMC, but I've streamlined it. Game plan is simple. Get out as fast as possible. Keep drawing lots of cards to out run your opponent. Win con is usually either, Animar damage, Craterhoof Behemoth, Tidespout Tyrant (with an infinite cast loop with Beast Whisperer, Ancestral Statue or Palinchron).
