Have you considered adding Surrak Dragonclaw in? I've got him as my commander for an in the works Temur/morph/overrun deck

For the infinite mana combo with Palinchron and Animar, you don't need six counters, you only need 1. As long as Palinchron's casting cost is less than the amount of lands you can untap then you have infinite mana.

This deck looks really fun to play. I just tried playtesting it and I was able to combo off at turn 8 and no doubt it could have been done sooner with better knowledge of the deck. Further more, I think you've hit a sweet spot, where you have a very effective deck without being a 100% consistent turn 3-4 win every game (which I find boring). +1 from me. Well crafted, wish I could afford to build it myself.

You know what this needs? Squirrel tokens. You need Squirrel Nest. You do have Earthcraft just get a land enchanted and now you have all the squirrel tokens you will need.
You will also get unlimited counters . . .

So as a fellow animar player i used to have a bunch of gross hydras as well, but unfortunately as i realized to my sadness, creatures with an (X) casting cost, does not work with animars counter ability. You would actually have to use mana to use their (X) casting costs

@Willtheglorious: With X cost creatures, you announce the cost before paying for it, so Animar does reduce the cost of ... Mistcutter Hydra for example

Love the deck idea and actually building off of it irl! But I do have to say, it needs more Void Winnower. Other than that, +1!!
