With animar as the commander, this deck loves +1+1 counters and creature drops. Lots of mana ramp, plenty of draw power, and big creatures that animar can cheapen. Progenitor mimic can be used to copy big creatures or to copy animar itself, while things like primal vigor and primeval bounty multiply the counter placement. blockers like fog bank and blightwidow come in very handy if you start getting aggro early on. vorel of the hull clade and seedborn muse get special mention for their multiplier power, especially if you leave yourself a bit of mana to use vorel's ability on opponent's turns.
