The overarching theme of this deck draws from the card Timesifter. While it can have an interesting effect as a possible mill card for opponents, I'm really attempting to manipulate the extra turn ability it provides me. To ensure I always have the highest converted mana cost when its ability is used, I seek to do 3 things.

  1. Use high converted mana cost creatures such as Deep-Sea Kraken, Errant Ephemeron, and Spire Golem. All of these creatures have alternative mana costs to cast them allowing me to play them without paying their extremely high mana cost.
  2. Control the top card on my opponents library so that is either a land card or a low mana cost card. This will ensure that I always draw the highest mana cost card and thus get an extra turn. To do this, I will utilize Metamorphose and Temporal Eddy.
  3. Control the top card of my library. This ensures that I keep a high mana cost card on top while also being able to play lands. I can achieve this with Brainstorm and Flow of Ideas.

My main win con will simply being taking a ton of turns. With these extra turns, the creatures I cast by using suspend will quickly come into play and be able to destroy my opponents.
