My, slightly more affordable, version of a Legacy Ant deck. It works pretty well, comobo's off for me turn 1-5 (turn 4 average). Not bad considering you win the turn it combos off on. Added standstills so you can play a little mind game with your opponent, useful especially if they don't have any creatures out because you can wait it out until you have the cards to combo, and if they cast any spells, you gain 3 cards, greatly increasing the chance that you will combo off.
For those who don't understand the combo, it's fairly easy. You win by playing a BUNCH of low cost spells mana ramp spells(Lotus Petal, Lion's Eye Diamond, Dark Ritual ect.) all in the same turnturn. You then use Infernal Tutor, and then while its on the stack use the lion's eye ability. This empties your hand so you can search for ANY card (hellbent). You grab either (if you have played 9 spells that turn)Tendrils of Agony or more likely an Ad Nauseam. You have enough floating mana to play Ad Nauseam, and then draw about 9 cards (Or if you played Angel's Grace you can draw as many as you want because you can't lose the game, so you can get well below 1 life from the Ad Nauseam), playing more spells and then finishing with a Tendrils of Agony, which deals a ton of damage (2 for each spell played before, +2).
At first I was very skeptical when I saw an ANT deck, but I found them to be fairly reliable when watching others play them, and also when I solitaired my own, almost always finding a way to combo off early.
I have yet to play this deck in my local tournament, but I plan to next week.
Any feedback (Good or bad) would be great, and don't forget to hit that +1!
