----------THIS DECK CAN ALSO BE CONSIDERED AS A BUDGET BY REMOVING FETCHLANDS------ The Anti-Meta Formation is a deck based on low-mana cost creatures with big toughness which can be turned into unstopable beasts when the Assault Formation comes in. Those creatures can also protect you for a long time until you find Assault Formation and win (protection is guaranteed as long as the 65% of Standard is Aggro) To begin with, as I was thinking of this deck I realised that the best thing I should do in order for it to win is to balance draw-spells with creatures which I believe is what makes the deck playable and winning. Firstly, I for one believe that those are the best draw spells for this deck because delve spells cannot delve here and for that king of combo decks spells like Read the Bones cannot be combined to Painful Truths or Sultai Charm. Not to mention the double draw step that Abzan Beastmaster provides. Also I think that two Ruinous Paths have to be here because... you never know what deck are you facing. Last but not least, taking into account that you will always have some tough guys into the battlefield Kin-Tree Invocation is the perfect back-up plan for summoning something huge with the same mana cost as Assault Formation. So how do you play this deck? I believe that your game will have two possible turnouts or winning conditions: 1st: You draw an Assault Formation in your starting hand and a bunch of tough creatures then you play one of them and next turn you Assault Formation and win 2nd You protect yourself with toughness and removals until you find an Assault Formation so by using the late game tough board you've built you go for a lethal attack That is the deck I have built I hope you liked it a lot, suggestions are welcomed.
