I'm a huge fan of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, but one boss that I had a lot of fun with at first.. and then none at all with later was the Guardian Ape! So I decided to make a deck based on the Guardian Ape and the apes within Bodhisattva Valley. And as far as the cards go, I chose to use the following cards as inspiration.
Grunn, the Lonely King - Guardian Ape
Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer - Elder Monkey
Hooting Mandrills - Groups of Monkeys
Simian Sling - Rifle Monkey
Koma, Cosmos Serpent - Great Serpent
Pact Weapon - Sword in Guardian Ape's neck
Chainflail Centipede - Centipede Living inside the Guardian Ape
No-Dachi - Sword of the Elder Monkey
Signature Slam - Guardian Ape SLAM!!

Originally I wanted to use Eater of Virtue in the deck to get Lifelink from Sidisi's Pet but now I've decided on another card which I think will be much more fun. Pact Weapon makes it so I don't lose the game for having zero or less life as long as the equipped creature stays alive. This can also be used to help pump up Grunn, the Lonely King further if you paid his kicker cost when casting him. Invigorating Hot Spring to give all my modified Apes and Monkeys haste and my newest addition to the deck which isn't an Ape... Koma, Cosmos Serpent since you can find a Serpent Shrine in the bottom of the Valley. I hope you enjoy the new and improved deck!
