Commander which tends to play like Rush of Dread combo, since half of it is built in. Many low to the ground snakes have interesting evasion built in, and unlike most aggro lists we only have to get through with one of them. This makes it very possible to kill an entire table with a single activation from our commander, along with effects like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection. Alternately, we can utilize this evasion from our creatures to act as sources of card draw in combination with Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, Ohran Viper, and Seshiro the Anointed. Bloodchief Ascension is already a solid card that taxes almost all actions made in a game, but with so much of this deck having deathtouch on efficiently cost creatures this adds additional pressure in conjunction with the card draw plan. Everything we do is almost entirely favored to trade up. Because of the glaring weakness this causes, take care not to overextend without a protection plan. Remember that we are not a normal aggro deck- we only need one creature per player. We shouldn't feel forced to try to make snakes at the risk of our commander. Even naked commander activations against something like a known Ad Nauseam list helps disrupt that game plan by limiting life resources. Also note that activating this more than once per turn causes stacking triggers, halving life totals, then halving it again and so on. Because of this, the large amount of mana this deck can generate can always be put to good use. Its always a good time when a 1/1 effectively hits for nearly 30+ damage.
