LOL! If only I had the budget to add another color.
Yeah, I have been considering putting Crucible back in but at 3 drop, it just seems out of synch with the rest of the deck. It sounds really good in theory though. Will playtest it this weekend. Thanks!

I'm still having second thoughts on wether or not to get Dark Confidant.
Considering the high cost of some of the cards in the deck, do you guys think having both confidant and tutelage is ok?
If yes, I might cut Monastery Siege. If not, I might replace the Tutelage (for speed), or just keep the deck as it is (because the tutelage is a lot harder to kill than the confidant).

Heartless Summoning will kill bob. I dint know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but its something to keep in mind.

I keep forgetting about Heartless Summoning. It's one of those cards that i've been thinking of cutting for the longest time but keeps earning its spot in the deck whenever I get the chance to play it.

I also have an Oona-led EDH deck this deck looks awesome to play

Thanks! If you're into combo decks, you'll find this quite fun to play.
I'll check your deck out in a bit.

Just a quick question, if you had the Bob and Flusterstorm, what would you take out?

I'll definitely second taking out Dispel for atorm; that's what I did.

Fun deck, threw it together the other day. Very fun, +1 for sure.

Thanks! I am considering using Crucible of Worlds to replace either Chromatic Lantern or Gilded Lotus. Any thoughts, guys?
November 14, 2015 8:06 p.m.
I'd cut Gilded Lotus. While its good, you're talking about a 5 mana investment. And if you're after a turn 4-6 win, it can be a bit mana intensive.

True. It is part of a couple of clunky yet funny 4-card combos though. Lol.
Are there any better draw engines besides Bob? I need something that can act like Damia (still fighting the urge to add ). Was thinking of using Necro instead of Dark Tutelage but i'm afraid the cost will make it a bit too slow.
November 15, 2015 6:59 p.m.
Oh, that's,right, you combo with Gilded Lotus and Ghostly Flicker (I should remember that as I suggested it). Cut the Chromatic Lantern then.
As for card draw, put Mystic Confluence in. It does lots of stuff too. And yeah, as long as you don't go up against discard, Necropotence seems good over tutelage.

I think the deck can still function pretty much the same way even without Gilded Lotus. The Lantern on the other hand turns fetches into shuffle effects on stand by and helps me with color fixing.
Are you still using Greed over Necro? I like necro a lot. My biggest concern is it sort of telegraphs my play which causes everyone to leave mana open in anticipation of me comboing off. I try and make my plays as discrete as possible. Lol. I've been thinking hard and, in my mind, Dark Confidant and Greed seems to make more sense.
November 15, 2015 10:25 p.m.
I actually don't run either at the moment. I'm currently running Consecrated Sphinx, Jace's Ingenuity, Dig Through Time and Blue Sun's Zenith as my big draw cards as well as my commander of course.
But if I did have to pick, I would probably run Greed as I really like the card.

Just came across an interesting card. Disrupting Shoal. What do you guys think about this card?
November 22, 2015 11:03 a.m.
Sorry if it's been said before -
Have you considered Seat of the Synod and Vault of Whispers to help enable Metalcraft on the Mox Opal? If you want to win as soon as possible, you may need a bit of a bosted artifact presence in cases where you draw Opal before turn 3-4.

What's the Temple Bell for? Is it so that you can force all opponents to draw a card? I think as a one off effect like this it seems ok as a nice to have, but could be either better card draw for you or more ramp. Also, now that Crucible of Worlds is back in, I think that Cephalid Coliseum should find a home in the deck again.

I like both cards but i'm having a hard time picking out lands to replace. I can't take out basic lands anymore because there are a couple of guys in my meta that uses Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon. Any suggestions?
Temple Bell ensures I have enough cards in hand to pitch to FoW, Misdirection, Disrupting Shoal and Insidious Dreams which is one of the main pieces of the deck.

I'm considering these cards for the deck but I would like to hear everyone's opinions first.
Sickening Dreams - The group/s I play in uses the point system so this appears like a better kill card than Tendrils of Despair which is pretty useless outside the combo. Sickening Dreams also gives more room to my "graveyard game".
Body Double - adds flexibility/resiliency. Has a good potential to finish "interrupted" creature-based combos.
Mana Crypt - i'm sure to put this card in. Just trying to figure out which card to remove for it. Currently choosing between Mana Vault and Grim Monolith

For Mana Crypt, I would consider cutting a land. My second choice would be Crucible of Worlds (how often are you using this, given the deck's speed?).
What about Altar of the Brood? It's a win condition with both your infinite combos.

Believe it or not, I still get mana screwed every now and then so i'm not sure if I can afford to remove a land.
Good point about Crucibile. I don't get to use it that much but in theory, it helps me get to 5 to 7 lands which is important in the Palinchron/Peregrine Drake-based combos in the deck. It also allows me to keep lands in my hand so I can pitch them to Insidious Dreams. It is worth considering though.
I feel Altar of the Brood to be an unecessary redundancy since I already have Oona for my infinite mana combos, and my storm combo also allows me to setup the Peregrine Drake/Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + Palinchron combo.
January 5, 2016 10:19 a.m.
Temple Bell + Mind Over Matter + Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre = infinite draw your opponent out
Basalt Monolith + Oona, Queen of the Fae + Rings of Brighthearth = infinite mill your opponent out.
You can also use Mind Grind instead of oona for the cambo.

Clearly the best solution to land hate is to add green and just ramp better :P
You know you want to. also if land hate is such a problem then would it be worth putting Crucible of Worlds back in?
