Hey there kindred spirit! I have something very close to this that I've been constantly updating, and it's tons of fun to play with! High five to us! Though I don't use Collective Unconscious ... I'll playtest that.
Question: how do you fare against BU control decks? Because for me, it's not working well at all. Or another one that kills me every time is Vampires (the flying, lifelink, deathtouch kind).. Regardless of me having Proclamation of Rebirth or a bunch of flying/reach elves sideboarded.
I'll be curious to know how you do at GP Richmond, seeing as Elves is not currently in the Meta (though it has top8'ed back in the day) and I can't get it to consistently finish top4 at my local FNM events.... Keep us updated!

Tom_Corbett- Hi! Nice to see another elves player!
It seems to me that control can be a pain, but we do have a good amount of resilience. Elves can get back on its feet a decent amount of the time, but I agree that those matchups can be painful. I've usually tried to power through those decks by trying to go for an early combo, but I'm not sure if that's the correct way to go.

Love the deck. I've got a Simic elf one that I finished working on not too long ago - decided to browse the elf tribe to get some ideas for an EDH deck I'm working on. Needless to say, you've given me some inspiration for it.
Just out of curiosity, why are you running Forbidden Orchard ? I usually see that alongside Intruder Alarm in elf decks.

v4v3- Forbidden Orchard is in the deck because of its synergy with Beck / Call . It basically taps to add one mana of any color and draw a card!

Ah, makes sense. Totally overlooked that. Did you ever consider using Intruder Alarm in this? It almost seems like it was in there at some point or another lol

v4v3- I did actually have Intruder Alarm in the deck at one point! It replaced Cloudstone Curio . I still like it in the deck, it just doesn't put up thesame results as Cloudstone Curio .

I like the deck. I played against a very similar deck last week at FNM. They were running Garruk Wildspeaker and some 2-drop level up elf

You could continue the elf combo's with maybe a touch more ramp, and then you have the possibilities for cards like Eldrazi Conscription , It That Betrays , or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . Cavern of Souls might also be a good choice. Overall great deck +1

I'd suggest running Shamanic Revelation instead of Collective Unconciousness

On a different note, this deck is really fun to play and all, but I'm planning on taking this to a GP. I don't have a whole lot of hyper-competitive modern experience, so I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to take something like this to a GP. Thoughts? Help with the sideboard based on anyone's knowledge on the modern meta would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!
