Arcanis the Omnidraw

Commander / EDH

Auphelian

Ahhh, nothing quite like a completely stereotypical mono-blue deck. At least it's not Arcum Dagsson, amirite?

Anyway, as I'm sure you could guess by the color, this deck excels at offering opponents a fun deck to go against. It's something I enjoy to play and others enjoy to play against, while having many counterplay options open to the table.

(In reality, it's a degenerate blue deck)

Arcanis is a massive draw outlet, and one I'm surprised to see no others play in my meta. While he does require some initial protection, if he does resolve, you will win. Simply, you will just win. Another thing to reiterate about my meta, no one runs spot removal for creatures. I've seen a path once, but that's really just about it.

I'm sure I could go over all the intricacies and interactions this deck has, but they're pretty much all straightforward. Draw and control the boardstate until you can either Twincast a Time Stretch or just play Mind Over Matter. I chose to only keep a single true wincon in the deck with Temple Bell as to leave at least a slight bit of counterplay open. This has, however, been my first foray into monoblue territory, so any suggestions and advice others may have would be greatly appreciated.
