Ok, so this is not a typical Reanimator deck, in the sense that there is an earlier combo which is important to pull off first, before you start digging up the graves. Below is a description outlining each card in the deck and why it is there.
Early Game: Sylvan Caryatid and Lotleth Troll are very important to get out first. Corpsejack Menace is sort of a wild card in this deck, and I may be able to get it out early with a Dark Ritual. Mana ramp and counters galore on a two drop with trample and regenerate. I can use Sultai Ascendancy to start setting up.
Mid Game: Commence Reanimation. I can use Jarad's Orders if I need it. Corpsejack Menace
+
Vigor Mortis
, and Doomed Necromancer, are here to get my fatties out.
If I need to remove anything from the board I have Maelstrom Pulse, and if my opponent has a quirky smile on his face because he just dropped a big early game fattie, I can smile back and drop my Big Game Hunter for its madness cost, kill it, and claim one or two counters for my Lotleth Troll.
Ok, now the first and most important card to bring from the depths is Archetype of Endurance. This makes my creatures virtually untouchable, and it also opens the one black mana I use to regenerate my troll if I need it.
The second reanimation one of two fatties in this deck. I can drop Damia, Sage of Stone if I need cards, and if I need life I can probably drop Horizon Chimera from my hand the same turn if I have a Doomed Necromancer in play. On the other hand I could always go for Sheoldred, Whispering One for obvious reasons.
Vorosh, the Hunter is here for fun, as he combos well with Corpsejack Menace
When I am ready to claim my victory I will drop my Archetype of Imagination, attack all out, and voila you are dead.
This deck is a lot of fun, though it is a tad slow. Let me know what you guys think. Suggestions and maybe a +1 would be appreciated.
