I got the idea for this deck booster drafting Modern Horizons, so many cool snow cards.

Tamiyo is on a mission, strap your snow boots on we're going to Russia. We're doing a field research project on a long lost being of immense power, not a planeswalker but something ... else.

The Argivian scholar Arkol thought Marit Lage was a planeswalker, but he was wrong: she is a being of immense power, able to move across the planes but not by the same means planeswalkers can. Little is known about her life, her fate, or even what exactly she was. It's implied that she wreaked havoc on Dominaria at some point ("lifetimes" before the Ice Age, or "500 years ago" in The Eternal Ice), and it's clear that she had a human following Dehydration Acolytes of Marit-Lage and Brine Shamans even long after her disappearance. During the Ice Age, she was frozen in the heart of the Mouth of Ronom Glacier.[2] It is unknown whether she survived and what happened to her or her body once the Ice Age ended. Source - Gamepedia

Synergies

Rimewind Taskmage to tap Winter Orb at the end of your opponents turn, allowing you full use of your lands.
Brainstorm is an easy way to guarantee two permanents of your choice on top of your library for Genesis Wave.
Turn your Bloom Tender, Birds of Paradise, and non snow mana rocks in to ❄️ producing mana sources with Rimefeather Owl. This helps you pay cumulative costs for Cover of Winter and Glacial Plating.
Sword of Feast and Famine with Winter Orb out makes your friends hate you when it connects.

Play Tips & Strategy

Tamiyo, Field Researcher is extremely effective in this deck because of your access to fast creatures, some of which have flying, and her ability to tap down your opponents creatures, preventing combat blocking.
Thin out your deck of instants & sorceries as quickly as possible (don't be afraid to use your 3 counters early game, since two are less effective late game, and it will thin out your deck, increasing the effectiveness of Genesis Wave.
Ramp, control the board, Tamiyo, Field Researcher gives you great card draw for your fast, value-based snow creatures.
Cast Tamiyo, Field Researcher turn 2, 3 or 4 depending on your mana curve.
Play Genesis Wave for 5,6 or 7 mana depending on your ramp on Turn 4 or 5. More notes coming soon after playtests & tweaks.
