I wanted to build a deck centered around Titania, Gaea Incarnate
since I liked the land mechanics, and this is the result. I'll probably keep tinkering with this as I come across cards that fit the theme or mechanics of the deck. I'm sure there are plenty of cards from the game's history I just haven't come across yet since I'm new to the game as of Dominaria United. For flavor, you could think of this deck being Argoth's final stand in the Brothers' War; the land fighting back as much as it can. Granted, few of the cards are from the Brothers' War set but don't worry about it. Thanks to my partner once again for helping out with this deck! Anyway, read on for what this deck does!
The main idea for this deck is to use your lands to amass a large board presence, both from turning them into creatures and having them count towards P/T bonuses. Llanowar Loamspeaker and Tatyova, Steward of Tides are the ones who'll turn lands into 3/3 Elemental Creatures. The Loamspeaker's second tap ability gives you one with haste on your turn. That would be nicer at instant speed, but this is what we've got. Tatyova will make any land creatures fly, however they've been created; and once you have your seventh land on the field you get to permanently turn a land into a 3/3 with haste every time a land falls. Maybe they should make a keyword for that... Anyway, this can go off twice in a turn, even without the ability to play additional lands from your hand, as the fetch lands cause two lands to enter the field when you sacrifice them the same turn as you play them. Titania, Gaea Incarnate
herself can make land creatures for 4, turning them into 0/0 Elementals, also with Haste and four +1/+1 counters. You can turn that same land into a 3/3 with Tatyova or the Loamspaker to make it a 7/7 in total, with Flying potentially! Also, when Titania melds all the lands come back to your battlefield tapped. You'll get at least four lands back on the field that way, which could get you a big army when partnered with Tatyova. Eventually you might not even sacrifice your fetch lands, instead prioritizing them as creatures. You won't lose out on any mana production if they die, and you can tap to sacrifice them at any time, which is nice against removal or big blockers. If that all wasn't enough, they'll get trample from Thicket Crasher and +2/+2 from Sylvan Advocate as long as you control six or more lands.
Two cards both help keep the land drops flowing, plus give you big creatures based on your lands in play: Boseiju Reaches Skyward
and Radha, Heart of Keld. The saga lets you grab two basic Forests from your library, then put any land from the graveyard on top of your deck, which will keep the lands flowing into your hand. Finally, you'll get a creature with P/T equal to the amount of lands you control, which should be pretty high by this point. Radha also keeps the lands flowing, as she allows you to play them right from the top of your deck, which can be a nice synergy with Boseiju's second step. For 6 mana, she gains P/T equal to the amount of lands you control. By the time you activate that ability, first strike should be overkill.
Life from the Loam, Wrenn and Six, and Elvish Reclaimer will help keep lands flowing both into and out of the graveyard in case the fetch lands aren't enough. Loam will return three of your lands, presumably fetch lands but perhaps something the Reclaimer sends to the graveyard as well. Then you can Dredge it to repeat the process and often mill lands into the graveyard. Additionally, it synergizes with Summer Bloom and Tatyova's landfall, which can be a powerful finisher. Reclaimer is essentially a repeatable Evolving Wilds/Terramorphic Expanse for 2 mana, plus they get a nice P/T bonus if there are at least three lands in the graveyard. You'll need to repopulate the graveyard after the meld goes off to regain the bonus, but with all the fetch lands it should just be until the turn after the meld. Lands will still be going into the graveyard to make Tatyova's landfall trigger anyway. Wrenn will fish out lands as well, with the added utility of being able to do some damage instead.
In case you're worried about the 1 life cost for the two-color fetch lands: don't be! Titania, Voice of Gaea
gives you 2 life when a land enters your graveyard, so you get double the life back, plus the free 2 life for all of the other land to graveyard things.
I wanted to include Exploration as that would speed up land drops by quite a bit, but I didn't feel like changing from Modern for a single card.
