18iananderson, thanks for the question.
Generally, this deck stands up well against Aggro. The key is getting 2-3 creatures with counters to stay on the board which sometimes means not blocking and taking some early damage. The life gain from Abzan Battle Priest will compensate for that. Gaining 20+ life isn't uncommon in this deck. Then if Abzan Falconer hits the battlefield, the game can be won within a turn or two.

darleen I was curious because I run a similar standard +1/+1 counter deck, that isn't the best against aggro decks. Maybe I will have to try Abzan Battle Priest. I used to run Tuskguard Captain, but I substituted for more Abzan Falconer, because I realized I would want more evasion than trample.

Goblins gets graped by this deck usually...
I have a g/w/ token deck G/W swingeys (that also is trying to stay as far from non rotation friendly cards as possible)and pretty much the thing you have to worry about the most is mono aggro of any kind. If they have removal/counter/burn they could take out your dudes before you can get the ball rolling. But I've found that the protection usually more than makes up for any of this, you usually never have to worry about decks that use big creatures as win cons, because most likely yours will be bigger. Great deck, very scary.

I have a deck similar to this. What about adding the Theros Heroic Mechanic in. Even commons and uncommons like Centaur Battlemaster work well.

SpiritFangz, thanks for the suggestion. This deck used to run a couple Heroic creatures, but with Theros rotating out soon, I changed the deck to operate without it.

I've been working on a similar build for a little while and came across your deck and have a couple questions.
How has Collected Company worked for you? I tried it out, and I kept dropping important cards to the bottom either because of cost or not creatures? I decided not to use it both for budget and my bad luck with it.
Also, wouldn't Daghatar the Adamant work out better than Salt Road Quartermasters? It's one more cost, but you get more counters and can move counters from anywhere (including opponent's creatures).
Have you considered Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit? Especially if you had CoCo, you could pull into a couple creatures to drop and trigger Anafenza.
Have a look at my build and let me know what you think. I went for a budget build and it seems to be performing very well for the cost.

Harbynger, thanks for your comment and questions.
1) Collected Company: It has worked for me so far. 20 of my 24 creatures are 3 CMC or less so I have been able to hit creatures every time I have used it. Yes, occasionally I do end up putting removal cards on the bottom of my deck, but that's why I only run the two Collected Companys. This deck isn't centered around that card, its more of a later play to gain some bonus creature advantage.
2) Daghatar the Adamant: Yes, his ability is more flexible than Salt Road Quartermasters, but right now no one else at my LGS is playing counters decks so in that sense it doesn't really matter in my case. Plus, Salt Road Quartermasters is only 3 CMC which falls into Collected Company. Also, Daghatar the Adamant is Legendary and I want as many creatures with counters on the battlefield as quickly as possible to trigger Avatar of the Resolute's ability. And, through alot of play testing, I found that more than 3 creatures with 4 or more CMC really slows down my deck.
3) Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit: Yes, I have considered her in for this deck. In fact, I purchased a playset with the intention of adding her in, but never did. Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit shares the same Legendary problem Daghatar the Adamant does. And, like I mentioned, I want creatures to enter with counters or gain them very quickly (like Managorger Hydra does) to trigger Avatar of the Resolute.
Oh, and overall, its not just Avatar of the Resolute that I am trying to trigger with all the creatures with counters, its also Abzan Falconer and Abzan Battle Priest.

Have you looked at Dromoka Captain then? it doesn't enter with a counter, but as soon as you attack, he gets some. Especially if you have out one or two Hardened Scales the first time he attacks, your looking at a 3/3 or 4/4 with first strike on his first attack, then he'll be adding to other creatures when he attacks. At that point, you can use him to put a counter on one of your bolster guys the same turn they come out and then drop Avatar of the Resolute. Plus he's in that 3 cost range for CoCo

Harbynger, I have looked at Dromoka Captain. The trouble is I found it dies too easily. In my experience it just traded with an opponents creature most of time because the best players at my LGS are running fast, aggro decks. Maybe if I was still running Feat of Resistance mainboard Dromoka Captain would be more effective.

NOTE: INDESTRUCTIBLE DOES NOT SAVE YOU FROM NEGATIVE TOUGHNESS EFFECTS SUCH AS Bile Blight OR Languish
August 26, 2015 12:27 p.m.
B4ndana_P, opps, my mistake, thanks. Even still, Valorous Stance has worked better than Feat of Resistance for me.
August 26, 2015 12:43 p.m.
WHAT I AM MENTIONING THIS TO IS THAT Inspiring Call WONT SAVE YOU IF THEY DO NEGATIVE BOARD EFFECTS. OF COURSE IT IS A GREAT WAY TO STOP THEM FROM WIPING THE BOARD BUT IT IS NOT GOOD AGAINST THE NEW BLACK REMOVAL.
August 26, 2015 12:54 p.m.
It won't stop Languish or Drown in Sorrow but it sure does stop End Hostilities and Crux of Fate. And even if the board get wipes by Languish, you would have drawn cards to replace those lost.

The only recommendation for the sideboard that I would have is: replace Naturalize with Reclamation Sage. For one extra mana, you could get a two-one beater that can be brought into play by "company".
August 26, 2015 7:52 p.m.
Personally I prefer Ainok Survivalist to Naturalize. It may cost a little more but you get a creature with a counter on it out of it too. In a deck like this that's a 2 for 1. :) Also, I know you've seen it darleen but for anybody looking at similar types of decks here is a link to mine :)

Hey syandell86, I just looked at your profile. Your deck name when you post it is: 27-08-15-selesnya-counters. Just put that in brackets, and if you want the big link like in my link earlier put deck-large: before the name inside the brackets. Here's yours:

I would replace Naturalize with Unravel the Aether to screw your opponents out of Hangarback thopter tokens, or prevent them from bringing back the enchantment with Starfield.
