So when I first started playing magic, one of the first decks I played against was an old Chimeric Staff deck my step father had from when he played before he stopped during ice age. It was a brutal deck to play against with my Theros starter deck because of my lack of ability to destroy an artifact that wasn't a creature.

This deck takes that idea and brings it to edh. It's main creature force remain in noncreature form which protects them from creature destruction or exile effects until you get ready to block or swing. One of the best parts is that it completely evades board wipes on opponent's turns (excluding artifact wipes).

Now you will need to be careful because cards like Vandalblast will ruin your day unless you have a Boros Charm or Scrap Mastery on hand.
