The warriors went to take a 4th place at game day out of 28 people (overall 3-1). All in all, I'm surprised the deck did so well.
Round 1: lost 1-2 against Atarka burn: Overall place of opponent: 1st
Game 1 and game two were incredibly close, both winning the game by topdecks, but game three I had to mull down to four, which is something That you costs you against aggro.
Round 2: Won 2-1 against mono-red goblins: Overall place of opponent: 19th
1st game he got stuck on two land, and I got stuck at three land. I just drew my land first and ended up winning off of triple Brutal Hordechief and sorin. the second game he got three piledrivers and two Goblin Rabblemaster out so that ended quickly. For the final game I was just able to put out my creatures first.
Round 3: Won 2-1 against Abzan Rally the Ancestors combo: Overall place of opponent: 9th
These games were absolutely hilarious. we were just laughing the whole time. I won just by the true aggressive nature of my deck. This was mostly a casual matchup as we were mostly just here to playtest (and win, but mostly playtest).
Round 4: Won 2-0 against Abzan control: Overall place of opponent: 5th
This was by far the easiest matchup for me. Game one was somewhat difficult as he did bring out Elspeth, Sun's Champion but I managed to draw a hero's downfall. Game two I just won with a lot of warrior tokens and Brutal Hordechief.
Overall I think the deck did quite well for what it is. The star players of the matches were Brutal Hordechief, Secure the Wastes and surprisingly, Chief of the Scale. Chief of the scale made my opponents waste so many burn spells without realizing that my creature were buffed. So despite what everyone at my local card shop have told me, I'm keeping them in the mainboard.
