Army Slaying Unicorn

Modern*

Zendreon

Sideboard

Enchantment (2)

You know what they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall! At least when you have a deathstriking unicorn that gets +1/+1 for every blocker and demands all blockers.

With Beastmaster's Magemark, Prized Unicorn will never run out of power to distribute for lethal damage via deathtouch (Bow of Nylea or Wasteland Viper) and first strike (Sure Strike or Coordinated Assault). Smaller monsters like Stormblood Berserker can do the same on a smaller scale. If another magemark is on the field alongside Archetype of Aggression, you get an additional free damage for every creature that was blocked.

Because the deck's most powerful combo sets up after turn 3, it is prone to removal, destruction, etc. That doesn't stop it from the early harassment of needing more than one monster to block and Zhur-Taa Druid chipping away life every turn. Sometimes you'll win just by using two monsters they just can't block. Building the field with monsters is your biggest worry in this deck. Once a magemark is out, slapping down Rancors and Snake Umbras is pretty easy.

Typical Field Setups: Snake Umbra + Zhur-Taa Druid, Rancor + Stormblood Berserker, Beastmaster's Magemark + Prized Unicorn.

Against late game Selesnya decks, their tokens will never know what hit them (unless a white creature with protection from green comes along). You can think about it as a pseudo bloodrush deck.
