updated again, still trying to gather up the right mana cards ...

You've got WWAAYYYYYY too many land. Even with 3 3 drops, it's still too many land (I always consider Mox Opal land). You could easily drop it to 19 land and still be ok, would would live you room for 6 more cards.
Spellskite is sideboard material. I'm not into Extended, so I'm not sure what you would be dealing with before Scars, so I could be wrong...
There's too many varying types for Adaptive Automaton to be of any major use.
Ethersworn Canonist would be a great fit. I've seen it played in Legacy Affinity and it slows everything but Mirrors.
I've been hearing that Chronomaton is a terrible fit for the deck, but I disagree, plus a recent pro standard Tempered Steel has proven its worth.
Whipflare is a great sweeper that never hurts you, and is good for the sideboard.
I see no Glint Hawk . Sure it doesn't benefit from Tempered Steel , but you have enough zero-cost artifacts to make it worthwhile. Plus saying "tapping Mox Opal for white to play Glint Hawk , bouncing Mox Opal and replaying Mox Opal " if incredibly frustrating for the other player, since you just dropped a 2/2 flyer for free (it's even better if you can manage to do it multiple times in a row).
Origin Spellbomb could probably fit in there somewhere. It's great for recovering from sweepers alongside Glint Hawk Idol s (which could also go in there), and if you have the extra mana or could use a body, you'll probably get an extra card out of it.
Although my Tempered Steel deck is standard, most of it is probably transferable to Extended (but again, I could be wrong, since I don't play that format)
