Within the first 10 seconds of looking at this deck, I was thinking (not that I'm a Standard obsessive) "Why doesn't he just take out the Frogmite and make it Standard?!" Then I saw the artifact lands and your deck description. I like it. A lot. Nice job and +1 :)

Looks fun to play, the artifact land is a fun looking concept to play around with.

Maybe add in more darksteel stuff and then some Worldslayer s? :P

Darksteel's indestructible ability doesn't work for non-targeted "destroy" effects, such as Worldslayer . It needs to be targeted (i.e Doom Blade ).

Sorry, I mistook that with the protection ability. Although there is not enough nice darksteel creatures to suit my liking, so I will stick to that list for a while.

you could just use Darksteel Plate another great equipment for this deck Cranial Plating .

Why are the Omega Myrs in your SB. Hovermyr is significantly better.

Wow! You did a very nice job here. There are few thing that you can change here. You could get some Thoughtcast and switch Trusty Machete and perhaps a few Palladium Myr for the 4 (or 3) Cranial Plating on the sideboard.+1 for you dude!

Yes. Trusty Machete is there only to replace Cranial Plating for the time I find a playset. I also thought switching one Palladium Myr and a Myr Enforcer , as well as the Trusty Machete to get a full playset of Cranial Plating into the deck. Would that be good, or should I take 2 Palladium Myr s out and keep my Myr Enforcer s? I only planned to get 2 Cranial Plating s, and put the other 2 on sideboard. Also, wouldn't Thoughtcast be a gamble? I mean, this deck is multicolored, and at best, I have 1/15 chance to get an island.

nice deck... I like it.

If u want to throw in some colored spells - Im thinking Vedalken Archmage - then you could consider adding some Glimmervoid s instead of the darksteel citadel...

First, define a color set. I would go Esper (WUB).

Next, determine what support cards you want. I suggest Esper because it gives you access to Dispatch , Swords to Plowshares , Path to Exile , Thoughtcast , and Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas .

Then, rework the land base. I would go 4x each of Ancient Den , Seat of the Synod , and Vault of Whispers . Then, include 4x Glimmervoid and 2 or 3x Mox Opal s.

With the affinity and relatively low casting costs, you can get away with running less lands. Also, Mox Opals can be played in addition to lands, giving you some slight ramp.

Alternatively, you could go with a modular creature base, which would rely on creatures like Arcbound Worker , Arcbound Stinger , and Arcbound Ravager .

I want to ask what format this deck is. It can't be Modern or Standard. So it must be Legacy. From what very little I know about Legacy I would suggest AEther VialMTG Card: AEther Vial and maybe some Sundering TitanMTG Card: Sundering Titans. MetalworkerMTG Card: Metalworkers also seem like a great addition to this deck. To the point where maybe you can cast Emrakul off of them.

And what color/colors are you? You have every artifact land ever - but that doesn't help with having any sort of support. And even if you are trying to keep in theme - you are going to need a way to destroy/counter/control their board? Unless you are going COMPLETELY aggro. In which case I suggest Tempered SteelMTG Card: Tempered Steel and/or changing the deck to be more red focused. With Lightning BoltMTG Card: Lightning Bolts and the like.

Fun looking deck.

Thanks! This deck was more for playing with friends, so we don't really care about the format, but i'm definately going aggro ; with it; I've got some Tempered SteelMTG Card: Tempered Steels for quite a while, and didn't think of it. If only GlimmervoidMTG Card: Glimmervoid and metal worker weren't so costly...

Mycosynth GolemMTG Card: Mycosynth Golem ? awesome deck btw

I'd consider more countermagic. A Fractured Gust, Shatterstorm, Creeping Corrosion, etc. would REALLY ruin your day.

Regarding Darksteel Colossus/Juggernaut:

From the Comprehensive Rules

700.4. If a permanent is indestructible, rules and effects can't destroy it. (See rule 701.6, Destroy.) Such permanents are not destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the lethal-damage state-based action (see rule 704.5g). Rules or effects may cause an indestructible permanent to be sacrificed, put into a graveyard, or exiled. 700.4a Although the text "[This permanent] is indestructible" is an ability, actually being indestructible is neither an ability nor a characteristic. It's just something that's true about a permanent.

Epochalyptik has an excellent point in his earlier comment, circa January. Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas is a MUST in Affinity. Plus card draw, discard, and removal here and there.
