Doing damage with your planeswalker is nice, but maybe consider winning the game just for having artifacts too? Hellkite Tyrant
Also consider Liquimetal Coating to turn one of your opponents permanents into an artifact when your Hellkite Tyrant attacks, and nab something unexpected from them.
Another nice CMC 5 drop that fits the artifact theme is Covetous Dragon . With only 1 Red mana in the casting cost putting him out should never be a problem.
Since you are playing vintage format, why not just use Counterspell instead of Stoic Rebuttal ?

I noticed that you added Thoughtcast for a little draw. I personally don't like being limited to drawing just on my turn and having that mana tied up to cast that sorcery which could leave you a mana short and limits what you may do for the rest of the turn. Instead consider so more versatile methods of control.

The Liquimetal Coating can be a very useful card in this deck for many reasons, including a way to steal your opponents permanents or just plain blowing them up. Consider a few combos that you can play instantly that can be a bit sneaky.

Opponent plays a game changing creature, which could mean your doom. You have already exhausted all of your Counterspell and Dispatch , but you do have a Smash to Smithereens . He attacks, and you respond by using Liquimetal Coating and Smash to Smithereens . You remove his creature and give him 3 damage for good measure.
Another possibility, which fits the theme of the deck a little more, and that is Aladdin Again using the Liquimetal Coating you can gain control of ANYTHING on the table. Maybe you attacked someone in a multiplayer game, and now it appears that you are open. The big mean guy across from you swings in for the kill, but you respond cleverly by using your Liquimetal Coating and turning someone else's creature into an artifact and steal it with Aladdin . You block and both creatures die! Maybe you want to steal some lands away, or perhaps take a handy enchantment that someone else is using. Maybe you just want it there to make people sweat, and use it reactively.

So many possibilities, and it makes him such a big threat to have on the table that players will definitely want to remove him, and if they do good, because that means that your Hellkite Tyrant has a better chance of surviving. Either way, both creatures abilities work together, and that is what you want in a deck, and that is synergy.

I hear you on the Thoughtcast , but I've been able to use it on the first turn quite a number of times. It accelerates this deck when needed. Too often I'm sitting there with an empty hand.

Aladdin is a really cool idea, and I will play test it some. His three red mana really scares me though. I don't want to turn to normal mana either, I really enjoy the decks charm of mostly artifact land. Play testing over and over on here can only do so much of course, need to do some live play too.

I've also used the Liquimetal Coating to speed up my Affinity of Artifact cards when needed too. Also to get that extra kill blow with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas . I used to run a Myr Enforcer till I found the Broodstar .

You mentioned that Aladdin is 3 red mana, but it's actually 2RR. I wouldn't play anything in this deck that required 3 of any type of mana symbol either, but 2 is certainly capable of pulling off.

Ah, the card they used for this sight is rather dark. Looked like another red symbol. Other then Ancestral Recall I can't think of a card that lets me draw 2 cards for one mana. I'm sure there is something other there

Blackblade says... #6

Yeah well Ancestral Recall would be awesome, if you had like $800 bucks to pick one up :). Best thing is play test both like you were saying and go from there. If the draw is making a big difference in the game play keep it. If you notice that the deck plays pretty good and wins without it you know that you can sub in other cards.

Quicksilver Amulet

Never seen the Quicksilver Amulet but I've seen a few decks that revolve around Master Transmuter . Call me crazy, but I don't really see the need for her. I'd rather have a good artifact search and Tinker isn't even that good for this deck.

You're crazy. One of the nice things about Master Transmuter is that for 1 mana you can virtually play any card in your deck. She is also an artifact creature herself which counts towards the win with Hellkite Tyrant . If you're looking for some good search you can use Enlightened Tutor , or Worldly Tutor . All good an cheap for getting exactly what you need. Worldly Tutor probably the cheapest, grab your big Artifact creature and drop it into play the next round for 1 mana with Master Transmuter .
Remember that you can bounce an artifact land back into your hand, or bounce your 0 CMC Shield Sphere and then just drop it back into play again, which would also remove any -1/-1 counters that you may have put on it from early game blocks.

Master Transmuter would also play very nicely for you dropping Darksteel Colossus for 1 mana.

This is doesn't exactly fit the whole artifacts thing, but could be very effective if played correctly with the potential search spells you may play, and that is Spellbound Dragon .
The dragon alone can look unthreatening because it only has 3 power, but image this if you will. Your opponents takes a hit at you with his Avatar of Fury knowing that he can afford a little damage because he has 14 life and leaves himself open because he can kill you next round. Now it's your turn. You cast Worldly Tutor and search for Darksteel Colossus and place it on top of your deck after reshuffling. You attack with Spellbound Dragon , draw a card, which you already set up to be Darksteel Colossus , and then discard it giving your dragon +11 power and swing in for 14 damage winning the game.
Even if that wasn't a win game situation you don't loose any cards as a result. Let's say that in a different game there are more rounds to be played because that was the first hit, and he still has 6 life. One of the nice things about Darksteel Colossus is that you are going to shuffle him back into your deck along and you'll get another chance to search for it with Worldly Tutor or Enlightened Tutor depending which route you decide upon.
I'm just braining storming ideas and throwing it out there. Hopefully some of it is useful, or at the very least might get your gears turning towards some unseen combo. This deck can really go in any direction.

Nice addition with the Vedalken Archmage . Will combo nicely with Master Transmuter bouncing Shield Sphere back into your hand and then recasting it which will allow you to draw 2 cards. Nice Nice.
Have you considered removing white? Not sure if it is worth it at this point having 4 lands that produce white mana for just one spell. Consider taking white out and replacing it with more counter, removal spells from red, black, or blue. I feel like white is just holding this deck back at this point.

Main Deck

Looking pretty good with this new revision. Noticed in the description that Vandalblast didn't come out in blue, wasn't sure if that was intentional or not.

The only obvious real weakness is flying / mass artifact removal. The opponents flyers you can easily remove once you have a Liquimetal Coating , or the Mycosynth Lattice ; which happens 90% of the time.

Sideboard

I don't feel like you need the 4x Tree of Tales for the sideboard just for the Tajuru Preserver . Could probably just 1x More Glimmervoid in the main and 3x Ancient Ziggurat . This leaves room in the sideboard for cards like Drafna's Restoration when playing against decks that you know are heavy on the removal side.

Looks nasty man. Can't wait to play against it again.
