My second attempt at a storm spell sling deck with a reliable commander in Jhoira. This deck looks to storm off and generate huge card draw, mana, and win the game quickly.

Combos Include:

Sensei’s divining top, mystic reflection, and any reducer to draw your entire deck and into a wincon.

Words of wind, Jhoira, and any two artifacts producing more than 2 mana allows you to create infinite mana and infinite permanent bounces clearing your opponent’s entire board state.

LED, Breach, Brainfreeze combo for the win, made easy to assemble with huge card draw or infinite draw from above.

Codex Shredder with Words of wind allows you to mill an opponent with the same bounce feature as above.

With infinite mana and Words of wind, cast Urza and continue to bounce for infinite gigantic constructs.

Omissions:

For now, I’ve omitted iso/rev combo and Aetherflux reservoir as potential win conditions although both are very viable in this build and may see inclusion in later builds.

Updates:

10/2/24: Post ban changes: Swapped out mana crypt, jeweled lotus, and dockside extortionist. Also swapped out torpor orb since dockside is gone. Added everflowing chalice, lotus petal, jeska's will, and artists talent. It is important to keep mana curve low and preserve the cheerios in this deck for our combos with Urza, Displacer kitten, and words of wind. Everflowing chalice is a poor replacement for either but it can serve as a "bank" offering chunk mana if we have it at the right time, lotus petal is one of my least favorite cards in all of magic but it serves it's purpose here. Jeska's will is our bad imitation of dockside offering mana burst and some card advantage and Artist's talent is a fun new card giving us another artifact reducer, some potential damage, and helps us filter through the deck to get what we need. This deck got hit pretty hard with bans but we do what we can do! There's no doubt the bans will slow this deck down especially in terms of getting jhoira out but I think I've done my best to protect the mana curve, provide the opportunity for increased combo synergy/ease, and keep everything moving as it should.
