This deck has a low mana curve is fully functional at 1UW. The deck is relatively simple as it focuses on locking the match through exiles, bounce, denial, or tapping effects. Opponents will have to choose between using their removal on the rapidly growing Champion of the Parish(s) or the creatures/enchantments that are exiling their own aggressors.

The synergy between these three cards will be keep the pressure on, creating a growing threat as the opponent's defenses are removed.

Deputy of Acquittals is a great utility bear than can be used to save creatures, trick block, or to reassign targets for Banisher Priest and Fiend Hunter. Excess mana can be used to bounce a pair of these, triggering creature abilities.

New Prahv Guildmage is an another utility bear that can provide evasion and lockdown large threats indefinitely.

Detention Sphere can shut down any other permanents, especially in groups.

Silence and Azorius Charm can buy time by denying the opponent's turns. This is especially helpful against pure aggro decks. Cyclonic Rift is in the deck as reset.

Brave the Elements and Ethereal Armor can shift the battle and will help to push the last few points of damage through.
