I've always wanted to make a deck based on Beastmaster Ascension since I think it's such a fun and powerful card, and elves just seemed like a natural fit since you can flood the board so quickly to get a fast activation on it. I've given it quite a bit of playtesting at a few different FNMs and more often than not Beastmaster Ascension is my win-con rather than cards like Ezuri or Archdruid like most elves decks simply because enough people are able to snipe them before they do anything but nobody has an answer to ascension beside a full board wipe to stop the activation.
