Normally I would run Blood Artist without even thinking, but thing is, I am not running any creatures so I would have to rely on my opponent having lots of creatures, which is very inconsistent. I can see your point though and may put 1-2 into the sideboard, thanks for the comment. =)

Terramorphic Expanse is Technically out of standard. To make it Legal you need Evolving Wilds instead.

Love the deck dude. +1. One thing I'd actually change is the amount of card draw, believe it or not. 3 Underworld Connections is too much. Consider a drop of red splash for just Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker .
December 25, 2012 1:44 p.m.
Fair enough with Underworld Connections , I took out one and added the third Snapcaster Mage I've been wanting to squeeze in. As far as Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker I really don't know. 4 color is kind of pushing the bounds of a consistently stable mana base, and I don't really think it's worth it for just 1-2 cards. Thanks for the comment =)

Depeding on what your local meta is I'd recommend giving Feeling of Dread a shot over Azorius Charm . I used to not be a fan of it, but after using it myself I think it has some nice advantages. It holds the board down better against multiple threats, and it has less unfortunate interactions with cards like card:Geralf's Messenger and Thragtusk . And in a pinch it can also be used to tap down blockers if need be. All that might be worth the loss of potential lifelink and cycling.

I too have not been a fan, but in this case I see your point. Since the main point of the charm is to delay until a board wipe, it might just work as a replacement. So far the charm has only disappointed me in this deck, so I will definitely give it a try.

are you relying only on Gideon to win? I think the deck would benefit from 2 Entreat the Angels and maybe think about Killing Wave I know its not as good as some other cards but it does have damage potential on the side.
January 6, 2013 11:16 p.m.
Killing Wave to be in the deck a long time ago, but I realized it just wasn't worth it. If did take life, it was more so a disadvantage than advantage. As far as Entreat the Angels goes, I only recently took it out. I found that it was a rather weak win con, dying to creature removal, token hate, and late game counterspells. Sorin and the new Gideon have so far been very so far been consistent game winners. I may decide to add one more sorin later on, but right now I'm pretty happy with my win cons. Thanks for the comment. =)

so, you're Espiring?

Lol... I am indeed espiring.
On Bolas, I would if I had some land fetches of some sort, but since I'm not it would just be way to hard to cast him consistently. And besides, my win cons have yet to fail me and it would be more of a win more card. Still, I will keep it in consideration in case GTC turns up something in mono red or boros that's ridiculous enough to splash for. =)

maybe dump 1 Liliana of the Veil for 1 Tamiyo, the Moon Sage I wanted something like this is my standard +1
January 10, 2013 11:51 p.m.
I will put that into consideration, though keep in mind, Liliana of the Veil is not a planeswalker in the same sense as tamiyo. She's just a Cruel Edict in disguise, and the best possible play to do with in most games is -2,+1,-2. I wouldn't be switching out one walker for another, I would be upping planeswalker count from 8 to 9 and reducing my removal. That said, I would like to squeeze in another tamiyo. Sorry for the long reply. =)

well as soon as gatecrash get's spoiled i'd love to give this a try but try 4 sphere of safety as well
January 12, 2013 2:02 p.m.
Maybe. It's a good card, and has been in a couple iterations of the deck. I'll put it on the maybeboard.

damtgmaster473, I have to disagree on Syncopate . The only time when it's better than Dissipate is T2, when I already have two answers in the form of Dimir Charm and Feeling of Dread . Since this deck has huge amounts of late game, T2 is very nearly irrelevant and anything that is dropped there is gone on T4 (Supreme Verdict ). I see your rational, it's just not the right card for the deck. =)

No like Azorius Charm I love it, and our decks are pretty simular. Azorius Charm is amazing and versatile The Tempo swings are ridiculous and on its worst day you draw a card. I wanna like Dimir Charm as it has several uses but i think i would rather have Azorius Charm.in most situations.as the only thing it can really do compared to Dimir Charm is counterspell a Boardwipe or Farseek.
February 4, 2013 9:19 a.m.
Chinka, I too love the Azorius Charm , but after much playtesting I feel that it has no place in this deck, mainly because I don't really have that many creatures to give lifelink. The cantrip and removal are nice, but I don't feel that the quality of those abilities gives enough merit to the card. Dimir Charm on the other hand, is AMAZING here. It slows down the opponent's board position until I can wipe, and the other two abilities give some really great utility. I have found it to be very effective. I appreciate your comments a lot.
