TOKENS

First off we should talk about the tokens starting with Saproling who is mainly a defensive choice because I can bring dozens out quite easily and unless the opponent has trample or something that destroys multi targets this can become an annoyance whilst you are working on building up more tokens for attack.

We then have Human tokens that come from Gathering the townsfolks, if this is played correctly and at the right time and with the right cards on the field you could actually bring out a 40 tokens in just one turn this could be the break you need to work on your stragedy whilst your opponent picks away at your newly formed defence

Working with Saproling Id say is Skirsdag High Priest and his demons who come out if something dies and you tap 2 creatures and most likely a Saproling will so easily you can a strong 5/5 demon with flying for your opponents to deal with later on

Next are the birds that provide a flying defense against your opponent, this can be quite necessary in alot of games and once again can work in favour with Skirsdag High Priest

We go back to Land with the Centuars who are 3/3, this is when the big stuff starts to come out for attacking rather than defence and at times the opponent will unlikely have anything to defend against such a strong creature making it easy to going after weak creatures on your opponents side or just picking off life points.

The biggest token in the arsenal is of course the elemental 8/8 with Vigilance, this can easily stand up to any attacking creature without dying and since its Vigilance it can then defend against them instead making these a perfect tank monster.

Finally we come to the star of the deck, the outrageous Assassin Token brought to you by Vraska the Unseen, this is your match winner, the token you will be wanting quickly and hoping with a rogues passage on the field then its a case of "either you play a destroy creature card or your done" and from the amount of times i've played with this deck...people have usually lost the game.

POPULATING

when it comes to Saproling, the best card to use is Crusader of Odric who power level is determined by the amount of tokens and creatures on the field, sacrificing her bring out as many tokens as her toughness so a good run with the tokens can have you bring out 10 tokens easily.

its important that you get your parallel lives out as soon as you can as they can double your amount of tokens and working with growing ranks you could be bring out 8 tokens a turn every turn which can be too bad.

simular to Crusader of Odric but better on the field than being sacrificed is Wayfaring Temple who like Crusader gain power and toughness depending on the amount of creatures on your field but when he attacks he can populate any token he likes, if you need to sacrifice try leaving it to the last minute or until a new one is on the field then whatever is produced with booster the other one even more*

*On a few trail runs I have managed to raise a Wayfaring Temple to over 100/100 by turn 12 at most, so you can see how dangerous this card can be

Call of the Conclave is pretty sweet i think considering it can produce a 3/3 centuar on your second turn, if hard to come by a creature that is stronger than that on your second turn and I doubt your opponent will have any creatures to counter it.

Finally an important card is Trostani, Selesynas voice who gives life for each creature that comes into play equal to its toughness but can also populate, when you have this on the field you will be safe in the knowledge you dont have to worry about life anymore

BOOSTS

there is a few boosts in this deck and we will start off with the Collective Blessing, this gives all creatures a boost of +3/+3 which can stop alot of your creatures being wiped out by cower of fear or something...although its cost 6 mana its worth it

next is Gavony Township, this land card has a secondary ability that by tapping it and 2GW it puts a +1/+1 on every creature you control, expensive again but used at the right time it can make alot of difference

By far the most important Boost in my deck is the Cathars' Crusade, this 5 drop gives all creatures on your field a +1/+1 boost for every creature you put down so if you got say 3 centuars (3/3) and 2 demons (5/5) and you bring out 10 saproling then your centuars will become 13/13 and more importantly your demons will be 15/15

Finally my personal favourite is Intangible Virtue, this gives your tokens a +1/+1 and gives them all vigilance...for 1W mana!!! let me repeat that +1/+1 and Vigilance to all TOKENS for just 2 mana, i dont think i need to explain it any more than that really

OTHER MENTIONS

I got to bring up the important of Seance because its fantastic, the deal of it is you exile a creature to put on a token, that token gains the abilities of the exiled creature until the end of the turn, sound good right? but I learnt a trick that makes it better...if you have a Parallel Lives on the field you create two tokens both with the same abilities however when the turn has ended you only need to destroy ONE token so that means you could have unlimited amounts of Crusader of Odric or Wayfaring Temples to just populate and reproduce getting stronger and stronger (Cue evil laughter)
