This deck was made after thinking about 3 cards -
Crater Elemental
, Goldnight Castigator and
Benthic Infiltrator
.
The first is a great 3 drop blocker who goes nuts with Assault Formation.
The second is potentially a game winner - a Turn 4/5 double attack by Goldnight Castigator is a win in almost any book. 9/9 haste flyer is gross.
Benthic Infiltrator
is another type of winner - the slow game winner. I sit with everything else blocking and use removal while this chips away at life.
Together they have the potential to be a very strong deck.
Altered Ego is also very, very solid, as it can duplicate any of the above, or start stealing my opponents good cards.
Stormchaser Mage is also a very useful card to be running, and the colours fit if I don't have a formation to hand at the state.
Tide Drifter
and
Vile Aggregate
are solid midfield blockers too and can buff or benefit from my team.
Shape the Sands is an amazing card in this circumstance to as +5 damage would be amazingly solid.
The only issue I have is waiting for the Assault Formation to come out, hence I'm happy to have the Altered Ego to possibly copy opponents more aggressive creatures.
