Since You are running Red and white, I would suggest Volt Charge, and definitely Silence

I like it, but dont understand what Vexing Husher is for or Volt Charge. +1.

epajula it seems limited to 1v1 tho.. unless i was doing some Isochron Scepter + Unwinding Clock shenanigans, it just seems so low impact in a multiplayer deck.

JKLawson89 thank you! the Vexing Shusher is to help deal with those control players while im getting my combo out. In my meta we have 2 avid mono-blue players, a handful of dimir, and probably a dozen azorius players, and i found that i was ending most games with 4 or 5 enchantments in my graveyard from counters alone. i bet a lot of people will find they dont need him, but he can be really important for me.

im playtesting with Volt Charge atm. it took the place of some kill spells, but i really like that it proliferates.

Ah, I see! I like a deck that makes people mad, Im not sure about what pur modern meta is, as I have never played modern. So far what I have knowledge of just watching people play for fun, there is an affinity deck, an izzet storm deck, an izzet delver deck, and an abzan deck that uses stuff like young wolf, he kills them all off then uses cards to bring them all back and do it again.

I may build your deck but exchange things to budget it down a little until I can acquire some of the more expensive cards. Thanks!

get rid of the formatting of your mountain (the part in the name that is in parenthesis). They are apparently from a super pricey set. Haha.

I always knew there was a way to use Descent into Madness, good on you.

Gotta love this. Descent into Madness is definitely one of my favorite enchantments of all time, glad to see it's getting some love!

For a casual deck, this is great! Have you considered something to help you draw cards perhaps? If you are unable to acquire Phyrexian Arena, then Underworld Connections is a great budget card.

lithium142 says... #15

miracleHat i actually had not thought to go for some drawpower. thus far i haven't had a problem, but i could playtest swapping out a few Lost Auramancers, and see how it goes. I mean it sounds good to me XD

anyway, thank you for the suggestion and kind words! it always helps =D

I like the idea for Thoughtpicker Witch, but i dont know what id swap out for it. maybe if you dont need Vexing Shusher in your meta, she could be fun to play with. or as a budget option.
ty for the suggestion tho, i really appreciate it!

and thank you for all the support, everyone! i really didnt think this deck would ever break 10 votes XD

First off, +1 from me! I think I would probably run Soul's Attendant or Soul Warden instead of Nyx-Fleece Ram. I think it helps you gain a lot more life in multi-player games and though it is more easily removed, it also combos off hard with your Assemble the Legion! Don't forget you gain life when other players cast creatures too! Just an idea, let me know what you think!

XTechNinjaX oh, thank you for the idea! i will definitely run Soul Warden! i cant believe i didnt think about soul sisters XD

glad you like the deck too =D

"have you ever wanted to see all of your friends flip the table simultaneously?"
Well now I do! Assuming an even distribution around the table, does it launch vertically or does everyone tip backwards off their chairs?

lithium142 says... #23

electromancer you wont be doing the flipping, so it flips towards you!

it's always nice when your friends just throw cards at you >=)

+1 from me because I liked that you figured out how to use Descent into Madness. If you are really fun into multiplayer, Howling Mine is fun as long as you can find a way to tap/untap it whenever. This allows you to play further politics and let SOME people draw cards. I'm not sure why you have Power Conduit. It combos with Lost Auramancers but I'm not sure how reliable that is since you have only 2. I don't see why you would want to remove counters from Assemble the Legion or Descent into Madness. Vampire Hexmage combos better but it might be hard to play with its two swamp cost.

kengiczar says... #25

Power Conduit is nice because he can control the harshness of Descent into Madness. It may take more time to sink an opponent than his own board can handle but by keeping the counters @ 1 or 2 he only has to sacrifice maybe 1 permanent before Assemble the Legion gets online.

In short it's nice to be able to play Descent first and not have to hold it in your hand until you've already dropped assemble the legion if you haven't drawn the legion yet. At least that's one purpose for it.
